Thompkins Child and Adolescent Services Inc., Has expanded their services and has grown a number of programs that not only serves children, but assists to provide treatment for the greater family units. Thompkins is proud to offer treatment ensuring quality care from a multi-dimensional approach, integrating a skilled team of Therapists, Case Managers, Psychiatrist, Nursing Staff, and Office Staff. Operating from the Thompkins office in New Lexington, surrounding schools, and in the homes of families, our holistic approach is client centered and held in the least restrictive environment. The following services are available by the New Lexington Staff:
Diagnostic Assessments for Children 2-18 and Adults
Individual psychotherapy- to assist in improvement of the individual’s emotional and mental health care needs. Family Psychotherapy-To assist in the reunification processes of families that have been apart, to assist in the prevention of families being separated, and to improve communication and overall emotional health and stability of the family unit. Case Management Services- To provide support, education, monitoring of concerns and progress, coordination of services, linkage to community resources, and Advocacy. Groups Currently Offered-
*Aggression Interruption Training for Adult Males and Adult Females
*Aggression Interruption Training for youth ages 9-13
*Aggression Interruption Training for youth ages 14-17.
*Kinship support and education groups
*Children that are affected by divorce/ separation
*Parents dealing with divorce and Co Parenting issues
