🕷️It’s Tick Week🕷️

As we spend more time outdoors, it’s important to stay aware and protected from ticks!
Where are ticks found?
Tall grass, wooded areas, leaf litter, and shrubs.

Why are ticks a concern?
They can spread illnesses like Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis, and Babesiosis.

Protect yourself:
• Use insect repellent
• Wear long sleeves and pants
• Tuck pants into socks when hiking

When to seek medical care:
If you notice a rash, fever, chills, fatigue, or muscle aches after a bite, contact your healthcare provider.

Stay safe and enjoy the outdoors—protect yourself, your family, and your pets from tick bites!

Thank you to our Spring Intern Edna Agyeman for creating this informative graphic.
