As April comes to a close, we reflect on what National Child Abuse Prevention Month reminds us: every child deserves to grow up safe, supported, and surrounded by care.

CFA’s Safety Net programs support families by protecting family health and wellness and giving parents the tools they need to create safe, healthy homes.

The national numbers show just how critical prevention efforts remain. According to the Children’s Bureau’s Child Maltreatment 2024 report, 532,228 children were identified as victims of maltreatment in 2024, a 3% decrease from the prior year.

While progress is being made, the need for prevention and support remains critical.

This Valentine’s Day, we are sharing the love through CFA’s Children’s Fund. 💗

Because of this fund, we are able to support our most vulnerable children with urgent needs such as, food, winter clothing, safety essentials, childcare, and emergency housing. It also helps provide camp tuition, sports equipment, and enrichment opportunities that let children simply be children.

Help us provide safety, stability, and opportunity.

Donate at bit.ly/cfachildrensfund💗

The Children’s Fund is a restricted fund at CFA dedicated to supporting our most vulnerable children. It is not used for operational expenses and serves as a true safety net when other program funding and local resources are no longer available.
