Welcome to NEW LONDON PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY! We are so happy you found us. We are part of Concord Pediatric Dentistry and Lincoln Pediatric Dentistry.
We specialize in the COMPLETE dental care of children of all ages at all of our three locations. When you visit our enhanced pediatric dental office in New London, NH, your child's smile is our top priority. Our office includes Dr. Roger Achong, Dr. Patrick Capozzi, Dr. Danielle Hinton, Dr. Elliot Chiu, and Dr. Michael Capozzi, who along with a caring staff, are all dedicated to providing your child with personalized, gentle care that he or she deserves. Dr. Roger Achong, Dr. Patrick Capozzi, Dr. Danielle Hinton, Dr. Elliot Chiu, and Dr. Michael Capozzi are all PEDIATRIC DENTAL SPECIALISTS. Pediatric dentistry is an age-defined dental specialty recognized by the American Dental Association that encompasses both primary and comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care for all children, from infancy through adolescence. A children's dental specialist is a practitioner who, after becoming a general dentist (often called a family dentist), has completed an additional two years of post-doctoral training in the recognition and treatment of children's oral health issues. Pediatric Dental specialty education includes child psychology, behavior guidance, preventive techniques, restorative dentistry, supervision of orofacial growth and development (braces), interceptive and comprehensive oral health care, caries prevention, sedation, pharmacological management, hospital dentistry and the treatment of children with special needs. These skills are applied to the needs of children and to treating conditions and diseases unique to growing individuals. With the specialty education, pediatric dentists have the training which allow them to offer the most up-to-date and thorough treatment for a wide variety of pediatric dental problems. Our doctors are trained to evaluate proper positioning of teeth and jaw structures, checking for the influence of any habits your child may have. A thorough exam will be done to evaluate the health of your child's teeth, gums and mouth. Our office will make child specific recommendations for the need of sealants, fluoride and other services based on your child's individual needs and habits.
