I used to think stress was just part of the job… until it nearly broke me.

For so long, I kept pushing—believing that constant pressure was simply the price of getting ahead in my profession.

But underneath it all, I was running on fumes. I brushed off the exhaustion, ignored the pain of a stiff neck, and convinced myself it was just a “phase.”

I couldn’t keep going like this. That moment changed everything.
It wasn’t just physical exhaustion—it was emotional depletion. I had lost touch with what really mattered.

That realization became the wake-up call I didn’t know I needed. 🌿

✨ Sometimes you have to reach your limit to finally see what’s been missing.

There was a time when I looked “successful” on the outside—but I was running on empty inside and living in constant overdrive.

Before becoming a health coach, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry in a high-pressure sales and marketing role that demanded nonstop travel across a large territory and ever-rising targets.

Through that experience—interacting daily with healthcare providers and key thought leaders—I saw firsthand how stress and lifestyle habits affected not only their patients’ health but also their own well-being. And over time, I realized how deeply it was affecting mine, too.

Stress and worry had become my normal. I fueled myself with caffeine and “on-the-go” snacks, skipped workouts, and slept less and less. Eventually, my body said enough. The burnout was real—and it forced me to pause and reevaluate everything.

That moment in 2017 became my turning point. I made the decision to leave it all behind and enroll in Duke Integrative Medicine’s Professional Health Coaching Program—and it changed my life.

Since then, I’ve learned to prioritize health and balance in my own life while helping others do the same.

If you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or out of alignment, please know—you’re not alone. I’ve been there, too. And I’d love to help you discover what’s possible for you.
