October is National Physical Therapy Month, an opportunity to raise awareness of the benefits of physical therapy. We'd like to highlight our fantastic Physical Therapists at Sports Medicine Plus! Call 504-988-0100 for appointments. Last but not least is Hannah Vicknair!

Hannah Vicknair, PT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is from Hammond, Louisiana where she completed her undergraduate studies at Southeastern Louisiana University. She then went on to complete her graduate degree in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. Hannah enjoys working with athletes and is currently working on obtaining her SCS to further her knowledge in treating the athletic population. In her spare time Hannah enjoys working out and hiking with her husband, as well as spending time with her friends. Fun fact: Hannah met her husband in physical therapy school, and they just recently got married this past May!

Logan Seal, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS, CP-S is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Champion Performance Specialist. He was raised in the small town of Angie, LA located in Washington Parish. He completed his undergraduate at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Exercise Science and was a part of the inaugural Doctor of Physical Therapy class at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge. He has been practicing in orthopedics and sports medicine at the high school and collegiate level since graduating in 2021. Outside of work, Logan likes spending time with his wife and friends as well as staying active by playing basketball, golf, and beach volleyball.

André Labbé, PT, MOMT has more than 30 years of experience in physical therapy. He currently serves as an instructor for the School of Medicine at Tulane University and is the Director of Rehabilitation and Return-to-Play for Tulane Athletics. Labbé is the Director of Rehab and provides physical therapy to the NOLA Gold, the pro-rugby team in New Orleans, Louisiana. He keeps busy, as he also runs the Tulane Performance Institute, a biomechanics lab that studies motion with Noraxon's system and electromyography (EMG). Labbé has proved you are never too old or far in your career to learn, as he recently finished his master's in sports studies at Tulane University. Prior to his sports studies, he also received a master's in orthopedic and manual physical therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute. His first college degree came from Louisiana State University, where he studied physical therapy.
