Today is National Rural Health Day. Rural families face some of the toughest health barriers in the country. Fewer clinics. Longer travel times. Not enough providers. Hospitals closing. Higher rates of chronic disease and preventable illness.

In Mohave County Arizona, these challenges are part of daily life. Many families have gone years without regular access to primary care.

Nest Health is working to change that in partnership with Health Choice by bringing care into the home. Our Mohave team now reaches almost 9000 people across the county. That means
• Families who could not get to a clinic now receive care where they live
• No long drives or lost work hours
• One visit supports the whole household
• Families get connected to medical, behavioral, and social support in one place

At Nest Health, we make mental health part of every in-home visit. Our care team checks in on how parents and children are coping, supports kids managing anxiety, and connects families to therapy and recovery programs without leaving home.

Nest changes that by bringing medical, behavioral and social care into the home for the whole family. Families are surrounded with care, and moms get the support they need so they don't have to go at it alone.

🌄 This week we launched in Mohave County, bringing Nest’s in-home and virtual wraparound care to more than 9,000 families. For rural communities with limited access to medical, behavioral, and social care, this is a lifeline. Families can now receive care at home without long travel, wait lists, or fragmented services.

Our Arizona team celebrated this milestone at their monthly Skyline meeting with a Back to School theme. They shared old photos, welcomed new hires like Nurse Practitioner Steve in Mohave, and heard early feedback from families: “Love the convenience of being in my own home” and “Excelente servicio, gracias.”

With this launch, Nest is now available to 18,000 families in Arizona in Maricopa and Mohave through our partnership with Health Choice Arizona. We are proud of our Arizona leadership team — Carol MacLean, Russ Anderson, Mandi O’Brien — and the community they are building.

Paige has been a trailblazer in Medicaid, serving as one of the youngest CEOs of a Medicaid plan in the country. She has led major procurements, expanded care for children impacted by the child welfare and juvenile justice systems, and championed innovation that improved the lives of thousands of families.

At Nest, Paige will help us bring our whole-family, in-home care model to even more communities. We cannot wait to see the impact she will make.
