The Tulane Center for Clinical Research (TCCR) is happy to invite you to register and attend the 11th Annual LA CaTS Level II Coordinator Training taking place THIS THURSDAY, April 16th, 2026 [8 AM- 4 PM CDT], and will be offered in-person and via Zoom!

➡️The in-person training will be held at the Tulane Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (Tidewater) building (1440 Canal Street, Diboll Auditorium, 1st floor, room 106, New Orleans, LA 70112).

🎯This training is an interactive discussion on research ethics in which P*s and research experts examine complex cases and emerging ethical dilemmas, including the use of AI in research, and provide practical guidance for navigating them.

✴️The training will also include a panel of seasoned research professionals to answer training-related questions!

❇This training is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 12th, 2025 [8 AM- 4 PM CDT], and will be offered in-person and via Zoom! The in-person training will be held at the Tulane Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (Tidewater) building (1440 Canal Street, Diboll Auditorium, 1st floor, room 106, New Orleans, LA 70112).
🎯 This training is a full-day, focused series of interactive sessions to provide a deep dive into ICH and FDA regulations to prepare attendees to become certified in clinical research roles. Participants will engage with certified clinical research professionals and discuss critical regulatory guidelines. The training will include a panel of research professionals to answer training-related questions as well.

The Tulane Center for Clinical Research in collaboration with the Tulane Cancer Center celebrated Clinical Trials Day on Tuesday 5/20/2025 from 9 AM to 4 PM. The celebration started in East Jefferson General Hospital in the morning, with more than 60 people including clinicians, nurses, research professionals, as well as patients, stopping by the event. The celebration included clinical trials quizzes with prizes for the winners and delicious cupcakes that attendees enjoyed while learning more about clinical research.

The celebration continued in the afternoon at Tulane University School of Medicine in the Murphy Building with Dr. Patrick Delafontaine, the School of Medicine Executive Dean as well as others joining the celebration. The teams engaged in thoughtful and exciting discussions about clinical research with Tulane faculty, staff, students and researchers, while enjoying light snacks, cupcakes and different sweets!

The Tulane Center for Clinical Research team is grateful to everyone who made that day a great success!
