AstroAlert - Jupiter Retrograde In Cancer 1.11.2025 till 3.11.2026
The planet of luck, growth and enterprise, Jupiter, joins Mercury, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune all moving backwards for awhile. This is one hell of a time out for most of us to use as an opportunity to review and refresh the areas of our lives being affected. Mercury rules communication. Saturn is discipline, Uranus is spontaneity and Neptune is vision but Jupiter is the Big Daddy of the sky and he tends to reward those who he favors. Right now, since he is in the sign of Cancer, he is rewarding love, empathy, service and a willingness to understand and express our emotions. Take a moment and see where these elements have been at play in your life. Extra points if you make a career out of helping others. Jupiter going backwards will give you a chance to review and tweak the ways in which you help make the world a better place. Ask yourself too if you have been taking care of yourself the same way you've been taking care of others and adjust accordingly. Sometimes we give and give and give and end up depleted. If this is the case for you, take time now for self love and care and you'll be able to refill your emotional tank. Take a look at where you need to draw some boundaries cause this is a good time to setting healthy limits so as to avoid future burn out. AstroAlert - Mercury Retrograde 11/9 till 11/29
Well, it's that time again when we all have to be extra mindful of what we say and do for the next 3 weeks cause the planet of timing, communications and moving parts grinds to a standstill in the sign of Sagittarius before backing up into Scorpio for the last stretch of it's backwards motion. Many of you already are aware of the snags and pitfalls that are inherent to this type of planetary transit. It is not unusual to struggle to express yourself and understand others when Mercury is in retrograde. Missed appointments, clumsy conversations and mechanical and technical malfunctions are just some of the ways this time will affect us. Do your absolute best to postpone big commitments, decisions and purchases till next month cause this is NOT a good time to try and move anything forward. Think of these astro events as allowing us to do behind the scenes stuff and any actions that begin with an RE prefix like recalculate, reevaluate, recreate, renovate etc...I like to use Mercury Retrogrades as a time to take an inventory of what is working and what is not and adjust my sails accordingly. It will start being retrograde in the sign of Sag which means we could all be a bit overly honest. Always ask yourself, over the next 3 weeks, if what you are about to say and do is kind, helpful and true. It will go back into Scorpio and that could have us all feeling like private detectives trying to solve riddles in our lives. We could either be incredibly secretive or feel exposed and that depends on where Mercury was at the time of your birth. There is always a lot of fear mongering going on when Mercury retros happen but please keep in mind that this happens several times during the coarse of the year and we have made it thus far. Really it is just a time to be extra mindful of what our impact is on the world around us and to discover how adaptable and resilient we are.

AstroAlert - Venus in Scorpio
The heavens have been busy with planets shifting signs right and left. Today we have to planet of love, Venus, slipping into the sign of passion, Scorpio, and things are about to heat up for all of us in one way or another. If you are a Scorpio you'll feel it most but each of us will feel our blood pulsing a bit more and our desires running high. Scorpios are intense! Whatever they set their sights on they will pierce to it's core. One was of identifying someone with a strong Scorpio chart is that when they look at you, they see right through you. I feel they are one of the most mentally active signs and they can overthink things and become obsessive. Because it's the planet of love that is entering this sign, that mental activity is likely to be regarding love and s*x. Scorpios get a bad rap as all being players which is unfair and untrue. When they commit it's deep and lasting and they can be faithful as long as their passions are being attended to. One trait they are accused of which is true is their need for privacy and not sharing how they feel. Many partners of Scorpios come to me cause they don't know where they stand with their scorpion partner. I reassure them that if a Scorpio wasn't in love, they wouldn't be with them and that's a fact. A Scorpio would rather be alone than be with the wrong partner. Coming up next week we go into Mercury Retro in Scorpio so don't be surprised if old lovers turn up and want a do over. It'll be a good time to review all of your passionate connections to see if they still serve you or not. A couple of fun ways to channel this energy is to sign up for tango lessons or a tarot class. AstroAlert - Super Moon in Ta**us
Lots of energy beaming down from above us as the Moon is extra now. Full moons affect us here on Earth as has been demonstrated by increased emotional activity with ourselves and others. Today we are full up of the lovely, Venusian vibe of the sign of Ta**us which is ruled by Venus and sweetens everything it touches. Creative, loving and powerful this sign is an energetic one so we should all be feeling like we want to make something happen. Ta**us also has a big appetite for everything and lives large at every opportunity. Try not to be too over indulgent today but definitely spoil yourself and your loved ones a little now. Full moons are a time to let stuff go too . I would release the need to do it all on your own and refuse help or guidance which Ta**us is known to do. When the Moon is in a particular sign the qualities of that sign are available to us all to tap into. Another Taurian trait is being artistic and whether you make art or appreciate it I would tune into that today too. Being that this is an Earth sign, it's a great time to take a few moments and connect with nature. AstroAlert - Mars in Sagittarius
Mars, the planet of drive and action, shifts into the sign of independence and adventure, Sagittarius and we should all feel a tinge of wanderlust in the air. Sags love to travel and discover new cultures and vistas and we could all be craving a get-away if it's a day trip or a full on quest, see what you can do to satisfy that urge. If you can't actually travel it's a good time to discover a new ethnic restaurant or festival near by. Another aspect of this transit is that you may feel a little hemmed in in your job or relationship. Sags crave doing their own thing and if you or your partner ask for some alone time now it shouldn't be taken to mean you're not in love. It's just that this is a sign of spontaneity and that is sometimes hard to achieve when we have commitments. Remember if you are the one who needs some YOU time be sensitive of the needs of those who depend on you and let them know you still love them and you'll be back soon. Other things I'd recommend to help channel this Mars in Sag energy is to spend time with animals, go on a horseback ride or spend a day at the track. The sign of the centaur is lucky too and you might win at bingo or the lottery. Of course don't go betting the farm. You may find yourself feeling lucky in other ways and you are free to take my Sagittarius mantra and that is "I am a lucky person" and guess what, I am and you can be too! 🍀🍀🍀

AstroAlert - Mercury in Sagittarius - Honesty Is The Best Policy

Without any question, Sagittarius are the worst liars in the zodiac. It's embarrassing really because this is a sign that often has no filter and put their foot in their mouths frequently. If you want to know the truth, seek out a Sag. We now have the planet of communication that has slipped into the sign of spontaneity and that will have us all keeping it lively in the ways we express ourself in the world. In addition to being honest, the centaur is known for their open-mindedness and philosophical nature. Don't be surprised if you take an interesting in things/people that are different from you and also you'll be inclined to trying to figure out the meaning of life. Sags are a chatty bunch so get ready for a lot of chin wags about fun and lively topics. This is also a very friendly sign and placement and you could amp up your social life a now too. All in all this is normally a pleasant transit but we are heading into a Mercury Retrograde starting 11/9 and that can create chaos in the operations of our day to day lives. It'll start retrograde in Sag which means we could all say some really stupid stuff. I myself am a Sag and have stumbled over my words many times. But a Sag will never say anything intentionally to hurt someone and folks can tell we've got good hearts. I'll write more about the retrograde as we get closer and I feel it's going to be a doozy. But for now, just point yourself to the nearest social adventure and enjoy connecting with others in deep and meaningful ways.

AstroAlert - Neptune Retrograde In Pisces - Dream a little Dream
Well this is perfect for Halloween season! The planet of Make Believe, Neptune, slips into the Sign of Vision and Sensitivity, Pisces, and truly anything is possible if you will it to be. You'll have keen insights into what drives you and brings you joy. Neptune feels right at home with Pisces cause it is it's ruling planet and is what we called "exhalted" in it's own sign. Being that both Neptune and Pisces are intuitive and emotional, so these will be running at high pitch even if it is running retrograde, going backwards. It is Neptune's last run at Pisces before shifting and moving forward in the new year. The things to do now is to go over your greatest hopes, wishes and dreams and see where they might need some work to become realities. There are a number of planets in water signs which means we are all FEELING a lot and will have ESP more than normal. What you have to watch out for now is being over confident and not seeing things clearly. It is easy to get taken advantage of during this time so make sure to check everything out thoroughly before making a big decision. Try your best to do your due diligence till after the new year and if something seems to good to be true, it likely is. That doesn't mean good things wont happen, it just means use discernment and take things slow. Next year it will slip into Aries and that's a whole nother vibe. For now, dive into your passions, creativity and intuition and you'll do just fine.

AstroAlert - Scorpio Season - 10.22 till 11.22
Oh la la! The Sun slips into s*xy Scorpio and all of our passions can be awakened. This sign is the most intuitive, perceptive and deductive sign in the zodiac and when the Sun enters it's realm, we all get a big mental jolt. Smarter than average, this is a mentally driving energy which stirs the passions they are known for. Passion doesn't have to be physical, although that can be high too during this season. But passion is always a deep feeling and interest and all ours should be running on extra. So we have intuition AND passion working together and Scorpio is also pretty strong in willpower and drive and can accomplish whatever they set their minds to. A few things to watch out for is that you could be feeling obsessive or possessive with this transit. Try to channel your energy into projects instead of people right now and you will be able to make a lot happen this month. One thing of note is that while we know the sign of Scorpio is the scorpion, they are also the sign of the phoenix and have power of reinvention. No matter what you have been struggling with, now is a good time to rise above it and start anew, reborn and transformed. Be mindful that Mercury goes retrograde in the sign of Scorpio in November.
