AstroAlert - Full Moon In Cancer
In the wee small hours this morning the Moon hit it's full potency in the sign of Cancer. It's the first full moon of 2026 and an opportunity to fully release anything that no longer serves your highest good that may have tripped you up last year. Because NYE was midweek we haven't started off our first full week of the new year yet which makes this moon extra potent for out with the old and in with the new. For me it's the usual suspects...fear, doubt, insecurity and any other icky stuff that limited my ability to fully manifest my best life. Just because I've been working in the realm of spirit professionally for the past 40 years doesn't mean I don't struggle with the same crappy stuff most of us do. Doing the work doesn't completely erase old patterns, it just means you don't stay stuck in the negativity loops anymore. Gone are the days I drowned in my feelings but they do still pop up from time to time even at this season of my life. When they do pop up, I bless them and let them go pretty quickly. This particular lunation is all about emotions so you can get right to the core of anything that hinders your good health, wealth, love and bliss. Don't be afraid to do a deep dive these next few days into anything that comes up while this Cancer Full Moon shines it's light into all the nooks and crannies of our psyches. This can be when you truly transcend limiting beliefs and behaviors. Write a list of any negative thought patterns that become illuminated now and know you've got the power to acknowledge and release them. Truly this is one of the most potent astro transits to finally break free and wipe your soul slate clean. I always teach the old spiritual axiom that "Nature Abhors A Vacuum" which means that when we purge our lives, be it of outworn material goods or self sabotaging beliefs, the universe will fill the newly empty areas with positive opportunities. AstroAlert - Venus in Capricorn
Capricorn is the sign of stability, responsibility and tradition and Venus is all about romance, flow and beauty. They don't always see eye to eye and Venus can feel a bit hemmed in by the Saturn ruled Goat. To a Cappy love takes time and above all must be worthy of the energy they spend on a relationship. Always a bit calculated emotionally we may all feel like we are weighing the pros and cons of partnerships and connections. That can be a good thing sometimes but some can accuse Capricorn of being cold and that's the energy that working with all of us right now and till later next month. Make a point of letting folks know that you love them and show them you care. Relationships that begin under this influence will last forever so look before you leap and use the caution available now. Venus rules how we present ourselves to the world and Cappys like to stay understated. Don't expect folks to be too flashy this holiday. Old school elegance is the way for this serious sign. AstroAlert - Sun in Capricorn
We have a big shift happening as the Sun and other major planets start to enter the realm of Capricorn on 12.21, ruled by old taskmaster Saturn. Just when we all are celebrating the holidays we will begin to feel responsibilities creeping in. I predicted that folks were going to reel in the spending this Christmas buying season and now folks will reel in the cheer a bit. Capricorn can't help but see that all play and no work isn't a great policy either. So many may find themselves working hard through the new year feeling the need to be more practical and solid. While Sagittarius is the eternal optimist, those born the sign of the goat think of the future and and the what ifs. It isn't that Cappys can't have fun, it's just that they know not to over do it and maybe we all need some of that energy about now. Think about how we face the new year by making resolutions to better ourselves. That is a very Capricorn thing to do. Always striving to be their best they are often quite successful especially after mid-life. While Saturn's influence will sometimes work you to the bone you will get rewarded. This is a truly great time for all of us to look at ways we can improve to have the bright future we deserve and help steer the world in the right direction. On New Year's Eve I will do what I have been doing for decades now. Each year I take a life inventory and see what I can do better moving forward. I thank the blessings I've received that year and I focus on what blessings I'd like to see in the year ahead. It really helps me to start the new year on the good foot. Give it a try. AstroAlert - New Moon in Sagittarius
If ever there is a new moon that's perfect for making a wish, or several, it is a new moon in Sag on 12/19. Jupiter, the sign's ruling planet, is know for good fortune, hope and optimism. Childlike and pure of heart, most sign of the centaur folks possess a knack for always landing on their feet and coming out smelling like a rose. Even if their world is going to hell all around them they will be the ones toasting marshmallows on the flames. It isn't that their are stupid or unaware, it's just that when things are out of their control they try and find the goodness and the silver lining in every cloud. If you have been feeling beat up by life, and truly we all are at the moment, now is the time to muster that last bit of courage and ask the universe to lend you a hand. Take all of your troubles and visualize the best possible outcomes and trust that the angels will do their work. Then keep an eye out for solutions that present themselves and opportunities that manifest this coming winter. Now I'm not saying you don't need to do any work. Faith without works is dead and that is true now too. Just know that there is a wave of good mojo that comes with this new moon and take a moment to lay your burdens down and give thanks, in advance, that your hopes and dreams can come true. Fun fact, I have the same birthday as Walt Disney, we are both Sags, and that perhaps is why I see the world with rose colored glasses but whatever the reason, my wish is that y'all see the world that way as well.

AstroAlert - Mars In Capricorn
We have just made a huge shift from the land of make believe, when Mars was in Sagittarius to the jolt into the real world, Mars In Capricorn. While Saggies are foot loose and fancy free, Capricorns are tireless workers who commit deeply to responsibilities in life. The goat also pushes itself towards success like no other sign in the zodiac. Their fortitude and drive is like no other and they have stamina that never quits. Mars is the planet of action and what we do in this life and it's like we've each been given a shot of adrenaline and cortisol to help us keep pushing forward no matter how tired and sore we are. It is often right before the finish line that we feel like giving up and what Mars in Capricorn does is give you the energy to keep on keeping on. This is especially good now that we're gearing up for Christmas and the New Year. I don't know about y'all but I need all the extra pep I can get to put on a holiday smile, wrap presents and sing carols this year. Life on planet Earth has been rough lately and part of me would like go bah humbug but Mars in Capricorn will give us the gas we need to cross into the New Year with all of the joy and exuberance of a jumping baby goat. It can also help us to climb to the highest mountain of our dreams, especially in careers and material rewards. And when you do succeed it will be because you earned as Capricorn is the hardest working astrological sign and Mars ain't no slacker either. AstroAlert - Neptune Goes Direct in Pisces
Today we have had a shift in the planet of dreams, Neptune, which had been traveling backwards in the sign of Pisces which is it's home turf. It will stay at 29 degrees which is the last breath of it's transit there. It will shift into Aries on 1/26 which I'll write more about when it happens. Let's for a minute turn our minds and memory back to the year 2011 when it entered the sign on Pisces at the beginning of this transit. Can you remember what you were doing back then? Try to bring back to consciousnesses what you were going through that year because whatever was happening then is coming to fruition and wrapping up now. Neptune is all about the imagination, dreams, spiritual beliefs and the unknown. Pisces is all about that stuff too so it's been doubly so with them joined up. You will no doubt find yourself with extremely high intuition now too as Neptune/Pisces rules that kind of energy. Now till 1/26 you can find yourself receiving downloads about what parts of your life have been affected these past 14 years. Pay very close attention to any insights you receive now cause it'll help to alert you how you'll experience this shift. This can be a very enlightening time when what you need to know will be brought to the forefront so you can apply anything you've learned to making your life flow better. Only things to watch our out for is over-idealism and overindulging. Pisces/Neptune always wants more and can fall prey to being overly confident and believing things that are too good to be true. Addictions can flourish with this transit too but now that it's wrapping up it can be a wonderful time to tackle anything you're doing to much of. The best thing to do until Neptune slips into Aries is going over any themes that were prominent back in 2011 and see what progress is being made. With Neptune moving forward now it really can be a time for dreams come true but be sure to read the fine print and let your ESP guide you. More about the planets switch into Aries as we get closer.

Hey y'all, it's Full Moon time and this one is brought to us by the sign of Gemini. Instead of being all in your feels, you'll be more all in your mind as everyone will have a hard time quieting the mental chatter now. AstroAlert - Venus In Sagittarius
Let the games begin! The planet of love, Venus, has slipped into the sign of fun, Sagittarius, and we are all going to feel the giddy up and go this holiday season. Parties start happening this time of year and both Venus and Sagittarius are know to enjoy a good celebration so this sets a good tone for festivities from now till Christmas day when the energy shifts to Capricorn. For now put your mind to decking the halls and singing joy to the world. Sag is an optimistic sign and is known to be pretty lucky too. You could have some magical connections with folks you meet now and this transit is full of charm and communication. When it comes to romance this zodiac sign needs their freedom and does not do well when they are being pinned down. Many Saggies marry later and there are even some that never wed. It's not that they are known cheaters but rather they just don't want to have to answer to anyone. It's not unusual to find them the center of attention and they tend to make friends wherever they go. They also like to dress up so we could all want to sparkle so put on that ugly sweater or that santa hat and throw caution to the wind. Once Venus goes into Capricorn we'll all feel the chill and I'll write more about that when it does.

AstroAlert - Mercury Moves Out Of Retrograde! Yay!
The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here...Mercury is turning around and will start his forward motion again in the sign of Scorpio where it backed up into for a rewind. Many of us felt like we were tongue tied and folks weren't necessarily understanding what we were saying. Others had snafus with tech or electrical items or still others had appointments and other timely matters fall thru. However it affected you I'm certain you were inconvenienced a few times these last 3 weeks. Well that has shifted and things should start running a bit smother as we move towards the holidays. I always say to give it a few days till it really straightens out but by next weekend it'll become more evident the tide has changed. It is now OK to launch new things, sign important documents and make big purchases. We still have a few more retrograde planets out there but Mercury retrogrades always feel personal so now that it's over we can all breath a sigh of relief and feel like our old selves again. It'll stay in the sign of Scorpio till 12/11 when it returns to Sagittarius just in time for holiday parties and generous gifting. Later next month it moves again in to the sign of Capricorn and I'll write more about that when it happens.

AstroAlert - Saturn Direct in Pisces
Yay! Hooray! We have one less planet moving backwards as the planet of structure & discipline begins it's forward motion in late degree Pisces, the sign of dreams & visions. Saturn transits can be tough and if you've got anything in Pisces you've likely been feeling something in your life cracking it's whip to get you into shape and be the best you can be. Because it's at the end of it's time in Pisces we've been through the worst of it and Saturn tends to leave a little gift on his way out. Take a moment over the next few days and think about what parts of your life are being reshaped. Have you been embracing personal growth or clinging to the status quo? How you answer that will determine how you've been experiencing this transit. Think of this time as being a chance to do a last minute sweep to see if there are any parts of you that aren't fully healed and then ask for the strength and direction to heal them.
