Join us for a FREE Senior Day on Friday, November 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at our Algiers Health Center (2801 General DeGaulle Dr., New Orleans).

Come learn about important Medicare and Medicaid changes for 2026 and how they may impact your coverage. Also enjoy a free bag of fresh produce for seniors ages 60 and older (while supplies last) and have fun with cardio line dancing led by the KWL Steppers! DCHC's Nurse Practitioner Residency Program is in full swing, and our residents are continuing to build their skills and knowledge.

They began their year-long journey with a dynamic three-day orientation in Middletown, CT, an immersive experience designed to lay the groundwork for professional growth and community impact.

During orientation, residents explored essential topics such as history and population health, quality metrics, trauma-informed care, chronic pain management, and more.
