U.S. figure skater Alysa Liu won gold in the women’s competition of the 2026 Winter Olympics to end a 24-year gold medal drought in the event for the Americans.

The 20-year-old who remains unapologetically herself skated with pure joy, a wide smile on her face her whole program. When she came off the ice, she looked at the broadcast camera and said, "That's what I'm (expletive) talking about!"
