Robert Normand, Sarah Jane McMahon (Cantor), Linden Uter (Pianist) Cynthia Davidson and Jeanne Keene (Readers). Last, but surely not least, a huge thank you to Jerry Schoen and our entire staff that helped with every aspect of the Days activity…your hard work was indeed shining today✨🕊️🪽🤍✨!!!

This Weekend’s issue of the Clarion Herald Sarah McDonald focused on a program created by our very own Community Outreach Director, Jeanne Keene. She goes on to say, “This program has been a very large part of my Community Outreach for almost two decades. To say I’m proud of this program is an understatement❤️!!!”

Thank you Jeanne for your continued dedication and love for the families we serve each and every day✨🙏❤️. Great article!

🐾 Who you're supporting:
Proceeds from this event will once again benefit these amazing local rescue and advocacy groups through NOLA Girl Charitable Giving by doing incredible work: Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO), Take Paws, The Inner Pup, Trampled Rose Rescue, and Zeus’ Rescues

These organizations are out there every day saving lives by rescuing abandoned or abused animals, getting animals from parish shelters that are on the euthanasia list. They are then given necessary and sometimes lifesaving veterinary care and that’s where you come in! These 5 rescue organizations spend about $1 million a year in veterinary bills. Whether you’re walking, running, or just showing up to cheer, your participation directly helps animals in need right here in South Louisiana. It’s important and necessary work and you make it happen!

Join us tomorrow morning for another unique and amazing community event as we help to raise awareness for NOLA Dogs Race to the Rescue 5K!!! Randi Rousseau WDSU will join us as our emcee✨🎤🐶🐾✨!!!

🌟 Join us tomorrow for the 2025 NOLA Dogs Race to the Rescue! Every step in this 5K run/walk supports Animal Rescue New Orleans, Take Paws, Trampled Rose Rescue, Zeus’ Rescues, and The Inner Pup — five incredible no-kill, non-profit organizations dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and abused animals.

Since 2017, these rescues have saved around 20,000+ animals and face nearly $1 million in vet bills each year. They do amazing work — and they need our help!

Thanks to your support, we’ve already raised over $175,000 for these organizations. From all of us — and all the animals you’ve helped — thank you! 💛
