Arts In Therapy, LLC is a therapeutic arts studio and private practice developed by Dali McGuire, Artist, Educator, Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S). McGuire has over 18 years experience with providing individual, family and group based art practice to children, teens and adults to reduce stress, support positive coping and relaxation and to promote overall wellness through creative outlets. Through engagement in the art making process; whether through drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, photography or mixed media exploration, participants can learn problem solving and decision making skills while raising self awareness, building focus & attention skills and developing greater self-esteem and self-confidence. In addition to offering weekly art and wellness classes as well as individual, family & group art therapy, Ms. McGuire offers clinical supervision for art therapists and counselors seeking licensure (ATR or LPC) and CEU workshops for professionals, artists & laymen seeking further knowledge about the use of arts based intervention in mental health, wellness and prevention.
