One of the types of treatment we use called “E-Stim” or also referred to as a TENS unit can help alleviate pain in many conditions. Small electrode pads are placed strategically around and on muscles to stimulate and transmit electrical signals increasing blood flow and creating a sensation similar to when your arm falls asleep. Many patients experience temporary pain relief with this treatment and while it is not a permanent fix, it can help with minimal pain and preparing the body to undergo physical therapy

We love 💕 when our patients update us on their progress and if you wanna see some AMAZING progress 📈 here it is! This patient has to work from home for 8 hours a day minimum and found herself struggling with sitting constantly which led to numerous issues. We recommended a standing desk for her along with physical therapy and home exercise programs, she has progressively worked her way up to standing for 5 hours a day! Posture is extremely important here and she also has a cushioned pad underneath her feet for support.
