Glad to see our fabulous HR folks getting recognized! They're behind the scenes but vital to our success.

Greg Brown, III, MBA is a 2003 graduate of St. Augustine High School. He then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Southern University at New Orleans, After his undergraduate studies, Greg went on to University of Phoenix, earning a Master of Business Administration followed by a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Services; equipping him with technical and systems-based insight into organizational operations.

Brown began his professional career in hospitality, serving as a Night Auditor with W Hotels before advancing to Night Auditor Supervisor at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. In these roles, he developed operational leadership, financial reporting, and customer service management skills.

Transitioning into human resources, Brown joined Volunteers of America as a Human Resources Intern, later advancing to Recruiting Coordinator, where he assisted in developing recruitment strategies, attracting top talent, and supporting workforce planning initiatives. In 2021, he was promoted to Human Resources Generalist with Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana, managing HR operations, payroll, compliance, and employee relations.
