She has taught yoga for over 11 years, and has practiced it for over 25 years. She is certified in basics through level 3 in the TriYoga system, and has personally studied with internationally renowned Yogini Kaliji (Kali Ray), the founder of the TriYoga system. Louanne is also an Ayruveda Wellness Counselor. Ayurveda is a 5,000 year-old system of preventive health from India. Its emphasis on diet and lifestyle can have a profoundly positive impact for those who practice it. In her Eleven Eleven Wellness Centre, Louanne helps clients learn about their own unique body constitution and teaches them about Ayurvedic nutrition, lifestyle changes, yoga, pranayama, and meditation. Louanne has also studied primordial meditation techniques with Deepak Chopra and David Simon, known internationally for their best selling books on meditation, yoga, and related areas of study. Louanne is currently working on a certification in Yoga for Cancer Survivors. She is presently studying yoga techniques to help cancer survivors learn yoga poses and breathing exercises that help lessen symptoms from cancer treatments, and strengthen the immune system and improve their mental and emotional well-being.
