Happy Holidays Get Real Tribe!

I hope you all are having a warm and inviting week.

I need to apologize.😔

For years I have been telling the truth about where health truly comes from.

I must confess that I have also gone above and beyond in being available for helping clients, including adjusting during power outages and home visits.💡🏠

I am sorry for facilitating stories of people getting off medications and drugs, avoiding surgeries, and feeling a renewed hope for life.💊

I must also admit that because of practicing REAL chiropractic, we have had people who ran that never thought they could, people sleeping through the night when they used to be restless, and much much more. 💤🏃🏽‍➡️

I have been honest and forthright and even when challenging, still told the truth.

I apologize and vow to you to continue is this manner. 🤭

Hopefully you caught on that this is a joke with the current trend of 'apology letters'.

I tried.😹

The truth is that I do realize with as much as we talk about health, life, happiness and what chiropractic is all about, I think that I have been withholding or not sharing the full breadth of the mission.

You see, although we celebrate getting out of pain and seeing miracles daily, that is not the aim of real chiropractic.

Our job is simple: remove the interference and let your nervous system restore.

What happens from there is out of our control, but you are better for it.💪🏼

For there is not greater doctor, no modality more powerful than the innate life force inside you!⚡

And when that can flourish, amazing things happen.

And you deserve it!🙌🏼

Happy Holidays Get Real Tribe!

I hope you all are having a hopeful and regenerative week.

It was such a blast to see many of you in the office this past week.

Checking in to hear some of your struggles, successes, and other news was a delight!

There is so much power that can be released from just one adjustment and more importantly, impactful change on the community with disciplined selfcare.

I met many new people over the weekend as well and usually when people hear you are a chiropractor you get one of two reactions:

1) An amazing story of how chiropractic has changed their life.

2) Being skeptical, unsure, or have never experienced real chiropractic.

I LOVE these conversations.

The passion Real Chiropractors share is a mission to change lives for the better by educating and empowering others on the innate healing potential within and the ability for one to be well.

Lots of times I will hear stories of others' journeys through health that has lead to not exercising, surgeries, chronic medications, and more. Not living the life they deserve.

Many think that their opportunity for self-care and chiropractic is not possible or has passed... which brings me to one of my favorite adages:

"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now" - Chinese Proverb

We cannot change the past, but it is never too late to make a good decision and begin the path the wellness.

Self-care is like a roller coaster - as is life.

We go through peaks and troughs, ups and downs, successes and challenges.

If you start today, and walk with the template and foundation of wholeness and optimal potential, with a supportive team behind you and doable strategies, the healing power inside you is boundless.

And you deserve it!

Good Morning Get Real Tribe!

I hope you all are having a transformative and healing week.

If you have not heard of it, The Miracle Morning (https://miraclemorning.com/) is a book, group , and practice that has helped many people realize their dreams in productivity and ritual.

They function based off a concept called SAVERS to start each day before leaving your home.

Silence - some meditation
Affirmations - positive reinforcement
Visualization - seeing your successes unfold
Exercise - vitalization and energy kick
Reading - learning and gaining knowledge or skills
Scribing - gratitude and reflections

I encourage you to buy the book and dive a bit deeper into the work, but the framework is pretty telling.

Discipline, accountability and the work is how any effective change is made.

By starting our day with just a few minutes in each of these phases, you will start to succeed in a range of areas that accumulates into whole body and life wellness and success.

Think about if you read just five pages a day... that would translate into nearly ten books!

Think about if you started with 20 pushups a day... that would translate into nearly 7500 reps!

And so on...

Because you see, when it comes to growth and transformation, it typically does not come from one event, or one adjustment, it comes from the dedication and commitment to small change over time... that leads to HUGE results.

This is why we promote and prescribe regular care to check in so you get the results you seek and a life of highest expression.

Happy Day Get Real Tribe!

I hope you all are having a transformative and inspiring week!

You know, there is a trending concept that we are hearing acorss many spaces regarding the nervous system.

You may have heard terms like parasympathetic, vagal nerve toning and more.

But what does that mean and how do we access this approach to health and wellness?

The answer is as simple as it is complex.

You see, in a sense, every step you take or action you do or thing that happens to you is a neurologic event in that it is through our nervous system that all physiological cascades occur.

Any stimulus from the outside is perceived through a signal to the brain and then output to the effector is actualized.

That means that when you stub your toe - neurological event!
When you eat a sandwich - neurological event!
When you sweat - neurological event!

So in that regard, what practitioner affects the nervous system? All of them!

However the difference is that there is only one profession that in its written scope uses natural means to increase nerve transmission.

There is one profession that looks to the structures that houses the nervous system in the brain, brainstem, and spinal cord.

There is one profession whose sole approach is on removing the interference or subluxation of the nervous system, and that is your chiropractor.

This is not to say that one cannot benefit from other modalities

After all, we encourage a multifactorial and team approach to self-care.

But if your nervous system is not transmitting those signals as designed, you are starting at a disadvantageous foundation for highest expression of life and healing.

In our office, we objective assess this exact thing and facilitate the best position for you to heal and thrive.

Happy Spring Get Real Tribe!

I hope you all are having an activating and transformative week.

We all know and have experienced the benefits of real Chiropractic care:

✅ Better mobility
🧘‍♂️ Decreased stress
💡 Increased nerve function
🤕 Pain relief
and more!

But for the long-term ability to maintain this alignment and further improve our posture, there is more needed than to solely get adjusted.

We talk often in the office of the three legs of the stool that enable such change:

1) The Adjustment - Objectively when the system is in alignment absent of nerve interference, the body functions and thrives as designed.

2) Behavior Modification - shifting those day-to-day habits that can be feeding into distortion and creating new patterns to curate a heightened life expression

3) Supportive Exercise and Stretching - Remodeling the soft tissues and anatomical structures to facilitate these new changes.

It really is that simple! But all elements to this formula are vital.

Without one, the stool would collapse! 😱

Happy Spring Get Real Tribe!

I hope you all are having a recuperative and nourishing week.

When we ask or talk about exercise it can be vast in its application.

Does solely 'walking' count? Or yoga?🧘‍♂️

Does it mean you must be a gym-rat and lift heavy?🐀

Does it mean we need to play active sports?⚽

And even further and more importantly, what is the intention and purpose behind it?

In the world of health, vibrancy and chiropractic, there is a theme that is important to understand and apply to your own exercise practice based on your value set.

We have gone over in detail why exercise is important for your health, posture, mood and more - but let's get a bit more reductive for what is happening with the integrity of the tissues at bay like the fascia, muscles, and more.

You see, each movement you make, every step you take is in some regard a trauma or stressor.

Our body's innate ability to adapt, heal, and remodel this tissue is where it can become advantageous.

For example, there are people who tear a muscle for lifting incorrectly or too heavy, but a different person accomplishes the same weight with demostrative results... but why?

The truth is that in both cases there are tears, but the resiliancy of each being is different.

From those tears there is an inflammatory process that ends in fibrosis - or basically it just heals.

So when we exercise intentionally, for function, or form, or posture, or stability, then we are remodeling the body to a better state.

Without this input, the tissue will degrade into a worser state - it must be used!

Exercise is a controlled form of trauma intended to adapt into a better state of being.

This is why after we set the template and foundation of a clear nervous system with real chiropractic we talk about what it takes to nourish the system.

It takes discipline, accountability, and dedication to make these positive steps toward growth and illumination - but you can do it.

Because when remodel our rituals to serve our vessels, life is experienced at the highest expression of enrichment.

And you deserve it!

Happy JazzFest Get Real Tribe!

I hope you all are having a celebratory and memorable week!

We all know that gravity doesn't take a day off.

Those forces that keep us grounded also add natural stresses to many joints.

Our spine was designed with such cushions or discs to be able to help absorb those forces.

Isn't that amazing?

However, if the forces are not dispersed evenly, then that can create extra stress in some places which can add to deterioration, degeneration and more.

We call those abhorrent forces (great word!).

This is why is is so important to stay in alignment and use the cues learned at the office to nourish our body's ability to adapt and heal.

Because gravity isn't going anywhere...

So in totality, would you want to live this life crooked or not?

Which path do you think leads toward more comfort, ease, resilience and higher vibrancy?
