Hi everyone! Today I received an update of what award we received, and was thrilled to find out it is actually two awards. Both awards have to do with advocating for the health and safety of our teens. The HPV cancer vaccine is tied to both, and if this is an indication that we may have had an impact in convincing someone to get the vaccine, which then leads to them having a longer and happier life, then it is all worth it! Kristen Forbes Teen Award - presented to those practices and clinics that have achieved high vaccination rates in their practice for 1 Tdap, 1-2 MCV, and UTD HPV vaccinations for 13-18 year olds.

Erica Frazier Stum HPV Series Completion - has increased the rate of HPV series completion in both girls and boys through strong provider recommendation, and effective outreach and education tailored to parents, guardians, and/or children to reduce missed opportunities.
