The last Lunation in the year of the Wood Snake,1/18/26 at 28º Capricorn New Moon. In our tradition this also marks the Ogham lunation of Rowan, (fire of fire). The work at hand is to release and shed the last of the snake’s skin to allow for growth. We may feel as though we have been slogging through the mud, taking all the strength we have to hold or ground. Now it is very important that we allow ourselves to shed, (Rowan – cleansing fire) release and treat our tender new form (New Moon) with great care. Wrap yourself in calm and set very clear (Capricorn – direct, Saturn – roots) seeds of intention that will burst forth with innovative new growth upon the next lunation Fire Horse 2/17/2026 at 28º Aquarius, (also ruled by Saturn), initiating Alder (air of fire).
