My one and only, my knight in shining armor, my farm boy, my handsome honey, my valentine.
I wouldn’t be able to be the woman I am today without the support and love of this man. We have our ups and our downs, but I wouldn’t want to ride this roller coaster with anyone but him. Happy Valentine’s Day to my man Joseph Alzamora 💛

The robe of it all
This is who will be collaborating with us soon on our farm where you too can come and enjoy the indulgent feel of a spa day (stay tuned to see more details of when).
Joey and I had an amazing experience. The cozy fire pit, the hydrating teas, the view from the sauna, and the sauna itself was such a nice day for the both of us.
Check him out on his Instagram page to get more details of the experience itself.

The weather report straight from taliaferro farms
Hope everyone stayed safe today!
Snow days here aren’t the funnest but we make do with rewards of snacks every time from each trip from outside to inside to clean the snow.
The snow waits for no one and our greenhouses continuously need to be saved from the snow.

Wondering what to get your valentine? It’s the perfect time to contact to grab the most beautiful pieces you can find. One of my longtime friends I made in the farming community and now she makes gorgeous jewelry.
This is my engagement, and wedding band that I designed with, and had made by her. But she does already have pieces that are premade, and even if you’re looking for something that’s curated to you or your special person seriously just check out her page.
I love everything she makes, and it’s always quality metal, stones, and has a one of a kind aspect.
You can always just treat yourself too 🤷♀️💃
Just wanted to give her a shoutout since it’s my favorite forever jewelry.

Red barn with a red bow.
Why not dress up a little during the holidays. And my dad made sure that even the red barn got a little decor🎄
One of my favorite photos during this holiday season I took. The red barn sitting pretty. Holidays always seem to fly by, but we are officially in January, and I’m excited to see what 2026 will bring (and to see the bloom of all the things this red barn will do 😉)

My wife and I purchased the land for our farm in the fall of 1995. This was the first step towards the reality of a dream come true and the beginning of a lot of hard work. I had spent the last 35 years working for some of the best people in the agricultural industry in our region. Taliaferro Farms is a culmination of experiences and knowledge gleaned throughout those years. Our whole family, sons Peter and Ian, daughter Delaney, my wife Robin and myself participate in all aspects of running the farm.
We market our vegetables and fruits that we grow, not only through our CSA plan, but we also wholesale and direct/retail market our produce. Our wholesale produce is appreciated by restaurants such as The Culinary Institute of America, Gadeletos Seafood, Main Course, Farm to Table Bestro, Rock & Rye Tavern, Tea Room, Bridgecreek Catering, Mountain Brauhaus and the Would. You'll find our products at Sunflower Natural Foods (Woodstock, NY) and Health & Nutrition (New Paltz, NY). The Ossining Farmer's Market, the Hastings-on-Hudson Farmer's Market, the Nyack Farmer's Market and The Rhinebeck Farmer's Market are where you'll find us selling our produce.
We also sell retail at our own farmer's market located on the farm. We offer additional products at the farm stand such as Certified Organic milk, cheese, yogurt, peanut butter, fudge, pickle products, honey, meats, grains and baked goods; which are all from local regional organic farms.
We also raise chickens and produce our own eggs. One half acre of cut flowers is also available on a cut your own basis. All of these products are available to the CSA members to purchase, separate from their weekly share.
The farm stand is open to the public on Thursdays 9am to 7pm, Fridays 9am to 6pm and on Saturdays 9 am to 3pm along with flower cutting.
