We know it's gonna get cold, cold, cold!

Here is our list of warming centers. There is the possibility some may be closed Monday due to snow accumulation. The Tuscarawas County Convention & Visitors Bureau has agreed to keep their front kiosk open throughout the weekend, day and night. While it is not a large space, it is out of the wind and snow. Thank you, CVB, for being a caring community partner!

Stay warm, T County, and stay safe!

Today, Empower Tusc, along with the Tuscarawas County Commissioners, Tuscarawas County Family and Children First, Tuscarawas County Health Department, Hope Line Tusc & Carroll, and Adamhs Board of Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties, had the privilege of presenting two important proclamations.

💛August 31 – Overdose Awareness Day: A day to remember those we’ve lost to overdose, to support families and friends who grieve, and to raise awareness about prevention and available resources.

💛September – Recovery Month: A month to celebrate the strength, resilience, and stories of those in recovery, and to recognize the many pathways that lead to healing.

These proclamations are more than words on paper—they are a reminder that every life matters, recovery is possible, and our community stands together in hope and action.

If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, call or text the Hope Line: 330.663.6812
