Testimony time!
My name is Teri and my son Todd passed away in February of 2024 from a Fentanyl overdose. He was my youngest, and his death was very traumatic for me.

A friend of mine suggested that I should go to the Grief Support Group at our church. I was hesitant at first and afraid that the meetings would make me sadder. But, what I found was the opposite!

Sharing our stories and learning coping skills really helped.
Also, receiving compassion
from others who understood what I was experiencing was also very comforting.

I have found that there is no limit to the lifeline for grieving. It could be from a recent loss or from a tragedy that occurred many years ago.

Regularly attending a support group can be an important part of finding our way along our grief journey towards healing. Growth and recovery have come to me as I have gotten ongoing support.

So, if you are grieving over the loss of someone special, I would love to have you join us on Monday evenings at 7 pm in the Ministry Center Room 111.
