Andrew Hewitt is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He attended Walden University to obtain his MSN in Psychiatric Nursing. He began working on his MSN while working at a local inpatient behavioral health unit for several years. His experience as an RN is varied, as he has been in the ICU and ER departments, where he found his passion for mental health. Before becoming an RN, Andrew worked as an EMT/Paramedic for a local 9-1-1 service. Andrew is a self-proclaimed “pop culture geek.” Just ask him about his Funko Pop collection or the latest movies. He is a self-taught cook that has a passion for feeding people and making them laugh with his dad jokes. About the Company

We believe in providing empathetic and holistic care to his patients. Caliper places an emphasis on the relationship between physical and mental health. Founded by Andrew Hewitt, with his wife Jennifer, who is an RN, provides patients with holistic and integrated forms of therapy options that are evidence-based. Our goals are to help patients of all ages make small yet important changes toward their mental health and to develop effective coping life skills to improve their overall well-being. Andrew’s approach is “one foot in front the other” in regards to those changes.

Hot take: not everything that helps your mental health has to feel like “healing.”

Sometimes it looks like watering your plants.
Sometimes it’s blasting music in the car with the windows down.
Sometimes it’s cooking a meal, moving your body, or finally picking up that hobby you’ve been putting off.

Mental wellness isn’t just therapy sessions and deep conversations (although those matter too). It’s the small, consistent things that bring you back to yourself.

If you’ve been feeling off lately, don’t overcomplicate it start simple.
Pick one thing from this list and give yourself permission to enjoy it.

Which one are you choosing this week? 👇

Today is World Health Day and we want to take a moment to redefine what "healthy" actually means.
It's not a number on a scale. It's not a perfect diet or a flawless routine. Health is how you feel in your body. It's your sleep, your stress, your relationships, your mental load. It's the quiet, unglamorous work of choosing yourself even on the days it's hard.

At Caliper Wellness, we believe health isn't a destination. It's a daily act of care for your mind, your body, and your nervous system.

This World Health Day, we're not asking you to do more. We're asking you to pay attention. What does your body actually need today?

Start there. 🩷

Spring is beautiful. But it can also be hard.

The pressure to "start fresh," to feel renewed, to match the energy of the season it's real. And for a lot of people, this time of year brings up grief, anxiety, or a quiet sense of falling behind everyone else who seems to be blooming.

New beginnings aren't always exciting. Sometimes they're scary. Sometimes they come after loss, or exhaustion, or a long stretch of just surviving.

That's still a beginning. And it still counts.
Wherever you're starting from that's the right place. Healing doesn't ask you to be ready. It just asks you to take the next small step.

We see you, wherever you are this season. 🌱

We’ve decided that a rebrand is needed and going forward we are going to be offering a new type of medical service. So if you’ve got a cat, a dog, rabbit, even a pet turtle that needs a little extra love and care… please don’t hesitate to reach out to get them the help they deserve.

And and Happy April Fools Day 🐶

Sometimes it's not just a bad day. Sometimes it's your mind asking you to slow down and pay attention. 💗

Here are 3 signs it might be time to prioritize your mental health and no, "just being tired" doesn't count as fine.

1. You're exhausted no matter how much you sleep.
When rest stops feeling restful, your body and mind are telling you something deeper is going on.
2. You've stopped enjoying things that used to bring you joy.
This one is easy to brush off as "just being busy" — but it's worth paying attention to.
3. You feel overwhelmed by things that never used to bother you.
When your capacity shrinks and everything feels like too much, that's not weakness. That's a signal.

You don't have to hit rock bottom to deserve support. If something feels off, that's enough of a reason. 💗

Happiness isn't a destination it's a practice. 🌸

And just like any wellness habit, it gets stronger the more you show up for it. Small moments of joy, rest, movement, and connection add up to a life that actually feels good.

Today is International Day of Happiness and we're using it as a reminder that your wellbeing matters not just when it's convenient, but every single day.

What's one small thing you're doing for yourself today? Drop it below 👇
