Pinnacle Study Club of Tampa Bay

The Pinnacle Study Club of Tampa Bay was founded by Dr. Michael A.

Pikos to foster continuing education and professional camaraderie among Tampa Bay area dental clinicians and other dental professionals. With dedication and commitment, our members incorporate the latest clinical trends, techniques, and education to improve practice growth, practice excellence, and provide their patients with the pinnacle of dental care. Additionally, Pinnacle Study Club of Tampa Bay provides its members opportunity for socialization and networking with colleagues from around the local region.

Thank you to everyone who attended Tuesday night's Pinnacle® Study Club of Tampa Bay meeting!

We had a wonderful turnout to hear Dr. Brian Shah deliver a terrific presentation on "A Logical Approach to Patients Requiring TMJ Surgery." His insights were incredibly well-received, with one of our members noting that he is a "fantastic clinician and the presentation was magnificent!"

As a reminder, our season will conclude next month. We are finalizing the details for this session and will share those with you soon.

We had a fantastic turnout at last night’s Pinnacle® Study Club of Tampa Bay meeting, and it was truly wonderful to see all of you there.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our speaker, Dr. Victor Martel, for his insightful presentation on "Occlusion for the General Practice Dentist." Dr. Martel captivated the audience with his engaging delivery, and the information he provided was both pertinent and beneficial to our attendees.

We're already looking forward to our next meeting in March. More details will follow soon, and we look forward to seeing everyone then!

Thank you to everyone who attended Wednesday's Hygiene Study Club meeting! We had a wonderful turnout, and the session on Myofunctional Therapy was incredibly interesting and beneficial for all who participated.

It's always a pleasure to see our local dental community come together for networking and continuing education. We truly value these opportunities to connect and grow together.

Another fantastic Pinnacle® Study Club of Tampa Bay meeting in the books!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our November gathering. It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces come together for an evening of connection, learning, and professional growth!

We were especially excited to welcome back Dr. Debra Goff, who once again delivered an outstanding presentation. Her talk, “Rooted in Evidence: New Guidance on Antibiotics for Dental Procedures,” is a critically important subject in our field, and her evidence-based insights and practical recommendations were incredibly valuable for all in attendance. We’re so grateful for her expertise and the impact she brings to our club.

We’re already looking forward to our next meeting in January!

What an incredible evening it was at the Pinnacle® Study Club of Tampa Bay last night! Our October meeting brought together a fantastic group of members eager to learn and engage. We were fortunate to have Dr. Donald P. Lewis Jr. as our presenter, who delivered an outstanding session on the critical topic of "Employee Embezzlement and Fraud."

Dr. Lewis masterfully balanced humor with the seriousness of the subject, making complex issues more accessible and relatable for everyone in attendance. His insights into the prevalence of fraud in the workplace were eye-opening, yet he equipped us with practical tips and knowledge to recognize and combat such behaviors. It was a captivating discussion that left us all better informed and prepared to protect our organizations.

We are already looking forward to our November meeting, which will be our final gathering of the year. Details will be announced soon!

Our latest Study Club meeting on Tuesday evening was a great success, with a fantastic turnout and a highly productive night. Dr. Michael R. Ragan delivered an exceptional presentation on "Guarding Your Practice Through Proactive Risk Management." His insights were both enlightening and entertaining, offering valuable information that everyone can benefit from.

We truly appreciate our dental community coming together and look forward to seeing you at our upcoming Hygiene and Pinnacle® meetings in October!

Another Pinnacle and Hygiene Study Club season has come to a close. It was a fantastic year of meeting with colleagues and friends, and throughout the season we had the privilege of learning about the latest innovations, techniques, and research within the dental community. The educational sessions, hands-on workshops, and thought-provoking discussions provided valuable insights that we can implement to better serve our patients. The collaborative spirit of Pinnacle continues to inspire excellence in our field!

Special thanks to all our members, presenters, and of course, to Dr. Michael A. Pikos for 35 remarkable years of outstanding continuing education opportunities for everyone in attendance.

Next year's curriculum is being finalized and will be distributed soon. Until then, have a wonderful summer!
