ABQAURP Diplomates and Members are dedicated to improving the overall quality of health care. Diplomates and Members of ABQAURP are comprised of virtually every type of health care professional, encompassing not only the clinical arena but the managerial backbone as well. Diplomates who have voluntarily achieved certification in Health Care Quality and Management demonstrate a deep commitment to patient safety, health care quality and effective care. Providers certified in HCQM exude superior ability to critically evaluate the literature, identify evidence-based best practices, and make reccomendations that balance appropriateness of services with cost and quality. HCQM Board Certification addresses effectiveness, efficiency, equity, safety, and timeliness in today's health care environment.

ABQAURP congratulates Diplomate Elaine Jones-Connor, RN-C, CHCQM-CM, CHCQM-PSRM, FABQAURP, for her 2026 induction into the Georgia Nurses Foundation (GNF) Georgia Nursing Hall of FameTM. This prestigious honor recognizes her 45 years of leadership and dedication to the nursing profession. Ms. Jones-Connor became an ABQAURP Diplomate in 1992 and holds sub-specialty certifications in Case Management (CHCQM-CM) and Patient Safety/Risk Management (CHCQM-PSRM). She is also an ABQAURP Fellow (FABQAURP).
