What a weekend for at the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon! 🏃‍♀️💙 Our 10 incredible runners crossed the finish line with determination and heart, raising over $40,000 to support Summit Health Cares and the communities we serve. Thank you for going the distance and inspiring us all; we couldn’t be prouder!

This week with SHC, we’re focusing on movement, mindfulness, and connection through Gentle Pilates, Reiki, and our always-loved Pet Therapy visits across campuses. Stay tuned for two incredible events in December: Broadway in Bend on December 12 and Broadway Rocks Cancer on December 17, bringing the magic of Broadway to support those in need!

Today is the day! Ten runners are proudly representing in the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. They have collectively raised over $40,000 for Summit Health Cares, which helps us fulfill our mission of equipping our community with the essential healthcare resources they need. We are so grateful for their fundraising efforts and cannot wait to cheer them on today. Let’s go, !

The season of giving is here and our Care Crew is showing up in full force. 💙

Our volunteers joined the Community Food Bank of New Jersey to pack 2,025 holiday boxes filled with ingredients for a comforting meal. CFBNJ will distribute 35,000 boxes across the state this season to help families in need.

We’re also collecting food through our Together Against Hunger Drive to help restock shelves for the months ahead. People need these resources now more than ever. Every can, box, and bag makes a difference. ❤️ Click the link in our bio to donate today!

Every backpack tells a story! Through our Back-to-School Supply Drive, Summit Health Cares partnered with El Centro Hispano to make sure local students start the year prepared and confident. Judith Aucar, Executive Director of El Centro Hispano, shares how something as simple as a backpack can make all the difference for families in her community. 💙�

Another inspiring week with our Care Crew! We started off in Newark visiting our neighbors at the Pleasant Grove Food Pantry, where Dr. Charles Farmer joined us once again, fresh off volunteering with us last Saturday. His commitment to community health truly captures the spirit of service that drives our work.

Alongside Dr. Farmer, our incredible Care Crew volunteers spent the morning providing blood pressure and A1C screenings, answering questions, and sharing guidance to help our neighbors stay healthy and informed.

Later in the week, we headed to East Orange to visit the SDA Food Pantry, where the Care Crew showed up with their signature energy and heart, connecting with guests, offering screenings, and reminding everyone that wellness begins with care. We are so grateful for our volunteers!

This week with SHC, we’re keeping the momentum going with a Fresh Start Period Pouch Packing Event, community wellness screenings, and wellness favorites like Reiki, Pilates, and Pet Therapy. As we wrap up October, we’re also gearing up for an exciting season ahead.
