About 1 in 31 U.S. children (3.2%) are identified as autistic by the time they are 8 years old, according to a 2025 report from the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network. Early identification and intervention can help families access early suport and services. The AAP recommends all children be screened for autism at their 18 and 24-month well-child checkups. If you have any concerns, please schedule an appointment. We are always here to support you.
