We are OPEN 🌈🎆!!!
For those on our email chains, I was able to get the message to you a little sooner but we are open at a slightly reduced schedule. For your safety, we are moving a little slower than normal to make sure everything is sterile as possible and appointments are separated more than before. We look forward to seeing you all in here as soon as you are personally comfortable.
We are also offering virtual sessions for those who are busy at home still! Email us, schedule online or call to schedule your appointment now. More videos and content coming soon on how to reawaken your fascial planes after months of indoor quarantine!

After only a few months of being up and running Ignite Spine and Sports is now temporarily closing its doors until this situation is resolved. We will be providing updates on a weekly basis to keep everyone informed about re-opening and scheduling but in the mean time our staff and our patients will be laying low and waiting this out. Stay healthy and we will be in touch soon!

Hi Ignite Family!

We will in fact be open 💈🏠this week, but please read the following and look to future emails, our page on Instagram, and the Ignite Spine and Sports page for information that may change daily.

The Corona Virus (COVID-19) has influenced our day-to-day lives in many ways. At Ignite we have made sure your visits are as clean as possible by scrubbing down the office 🧴🚿before and after every visit, utilizing multiple air sanitizing devices, as well as washing our hands so much I have forgotten what normal skin feels like (anyone have good moisturizer advice?).

We are directly monitoring the CDC, State of NJ, and WHO for any official updates on the situation, and will adjust our office quickly to enact their policies.

We are excited to announce that we are working to create additional venues for our patients experiencing sciatica, neck spasms, tennis elbow, etc. to get treatment in the coming weeks that will be viewable from their home devices. Below is a list of the ways we will explore to provide you with optimal care options for the duration of this episode:

1. Frequently posted videos to all of our social media platforms 🧑🏼‍💻ranging from topics like: Rehab 101 for Low Back Pain, to Overviews of Shoulder Anatomy for Tennis Players, etc
2. In addition to this new feature we will look to offer our first-ever Virtual Sessions with Dr. Pearsall on a secure video streaming format. Should the clinic be required to close down or limit hours, this will go into effect.

Reach out to us if you need anything and be on the lookout for new content soon. We will get through this. Be smart, be vigilant, and be safe my friends!

READY TO LEARN? 📘📕📖

Slow it downnnnnn. We have 2 categories of the autonomic nervous system that regulates most of the “hidden”🤫 actions in your body. First off being the sympathetic system, which controls your “fight or flight🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️” response (think you’re 10 minutes late for a major appointment or meeting and your hearts racing). And on the other side of it we have our “rest and digest 💆🏼‍♀️💆🏾‍♂️” system called the parasympathetic nervous system (think post thanksgiving dinner coming up or the end of a long yoga session of deep breathing). Both of these systems excel when they are in balance 🛁but all too often, especially in the north east, we live in a sympathetically dominated culture ⏱and almost never get into a parasympathetic state. Given this reality there are some tools you have to combat this trend that will improve your ability to heal. 1) start up deep breathing, mediation or yoga daily routines (seriously though this time! Find an app like Headspace 🤳🏼for those that are slow to start), 2) After you eat 🥯🍱🍿RELAX for a little bit. Let your parasympathetic kick in and do what it does best. You will digest better and absorb the nutrients more efficiently, 3) Get some body work done🦵🏼💪🏾. Adjustments as well as regular body work have a significant impact on your parasympathetic system and get you more in tune with your body. (Shameless plug incoming) At Ignite we specialize in this department and will help you not only heal your body on a fascial/muscular/skeletal level body also aid your parasympathetic system at becoming a bigger component in your life so you heal and just FEEL better 🏖. Take a deep breath now, like right now, close your eyes and just be for a second. Once we make small bits of time for ourselves, we notice that we perform better in the high intensity situations. Make the change today and don’t fall for the north east trap of being in a sympathetically driven life 24/7 ☀️!
