There’s nothing like flinging a disc to get you moving and enjoying nature!

Westfields Hospital & Clinic was happy to sponsor a disc golf class to teach 10 eager students the basics of the sport, including backhand and forehand throws and putting.

Special thanks to members of the New Richmond Disc Golf Association and Somerset Disc Golf Club for their generous gift of time, energy and passion -- their expert instruction brought the class to life and spread their love of disc golf!

We’re 75 and thriving – thanks to you!

Nearly 200 people joined us to celebrate 75 years of care, connection and community at Westfields Hospital & Clinic. Guests shared stories, enjoyed apple crisp, met our newest physicians and congratulated Dr. Dave DeGear on his upcoming retirement.

It was especially moving to see over half of the attendees wearing baby footprint stickers, indicating they were born at Westfields or welcomed a child here – a beautiful reminder of our deep community roots.

A huge thank you to our volunteers for creating decade-themed tables, curating historical displays and providing a warm welcome to our guests.

What a frightfully fun night!

Mary Park in New Richmond was recently transformed into a haunted drive-thru for the sixth annual Scary Park event. Westfields joined the fun with a scare station, where colleagues dressed in spooky scrubs and costumes to haunt passing cars and hayrides.

Thanks to incredible community support, the event raised over $17,000 for local scholarships and projects.

Huge shoutout to all the sponsors, volunteers and attendees who helped make Scary Park a hauntingly good time. We hope you and your family had a safe, fun and spooky Halloween!

We’re less than a month out from our 75th anniversary celebration!

We hope you’ll join us on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. to celebrate 75 years of care, community and connection in New Richmond. Come for the apple crisp and ice cream – stay for the camaraderie and old hospital relics.

It’ll also be an opportunity to connect with current and former Westfields clinicians, meet three new physicians and congratulate Dr. Dave DeGear on his upcoming retirement after 40 years practicing in New Richmond.

You’ll also want to catch the 3 p.m. program, which will feature the sealing of a 25-year time capsule to be opened in 2050.
