Holistic health cannot be separated from food and lifestyle. If you eat meat, consider making bone broth to support your body during these winter months. Slow simmering bones and fat in pure water releases minerals that are essential to health and healing and are not readily available in non-local produce or hydroponics. This is our project today. Broth can be used in mashed potatoes, hot dishes, soups, stews, or simply heated and sipped. As a conscientious omnivore, I always feel good using every part of an animal.

This is a great time to dig first year burdock roots, and I like dandelions this time of year the leaves are typically as tender as spring time. Also we found some money 💰 😂
