📣To meet the increasing needs of our patients, we are hiring a part-time Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant.📣
Our mission is to serve our community with compassion, excellence, and respect, and we are seeking someone who shares this passion. Qualified candidates must have graduated from an accredited physical therapy or physical therapy assistant program and have a valid Louisiana PT or PTA license. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Livonia High School for raising $1,500 for the Janell LaCombe Cancer Fund! Throughout the year, students worked tirelessly through various fundraisers to make this generous donation possible.

Thank you to the amazing students and faculty for your kindness, dedication, and commitment to giving back to cancer patients in need in Pointe Coupee Parish. Your support truly makes a difference!

🎓2026 Dr. Robert N. Helm Memorial Scholarship🎓
Pointe Coupee Homebound Health and Hospice is honored to offer the Dr. Robert N. Helm Memorial Scholarship in memory of Dr. Helm’s many years of compassionate service to our community. This $250 scholarship will be awarded to three graduating seniors, one from each parish high school, who plan to pursue a career in the medical field.
Eligibility & Requirements:
•Must be a 2026 graduating senior in Pointe Coupee Parish
• Submit a typed essay (12-pt font, double-spaced) outlining post-graduation intentions, chosen field of study, any medical-related involvement, and why a career in healthcare is important to you
• Scholarship funds must be used toward college, university, technical, or vocational school expenses
• Deadline to apply: Friday, January 9, 2026
• Email applications to homebound@pchhh.org or deliver to 350 Hospital Road, New Roads, LA
• Winners will need to provide proof of enrollment in a qualifying program in April 2026
This scholarship is a small way to honor Dr. Helm’s giving spirit and encourage the next generation of healthcare professionals in our community.
