Searching the halls for treat-filled Easter Eggs! Congrats to Ms Nancy and Ms Edna for finding the Golden Eggs!

Today was packed with festive Easter fun! An Easter Egg hunt throughout the entire building kicked off our day with Ms Nancy finding the Golden Egg!!! Also, Ms Edna won Memory Care’s Easter Egg Hunt bringing tons of smiles and lots of chocolate! A special Easter Bingo proved to be an exciting change to an old favorite! False River Academy’s Kindergarten and First Grade participated in our “Easter Egg Color Sheet Contest”. The winners were full of smiles as they received their gift baskets. ❤️. The residents dyed eggs with different designs, including tie-dyed. To finish off our perfect day everyone lined up to play “Knocking Eggs”! They were serious and competitive indeed! Ms Rose was the big winner in the end. Congratulations to all of our winners today! Enjoy the photos!

The Arts Council hit another home run with this fun Springtime Wooden Craft where the residents used art medium in bright colors to bring their creation to life. Beautiful flowers and butterflies definitely got everyone in the Springtime spirit!!! Thank you Artist Patrice for bringing such a cute project ❤️

Our lunch outing was more than we could ever have expected. The food was spot on, the service was impeccable and the residents’ fellowship together was icing on the cake. Speaking of, there was no room for dessert! We highly recommend South Plains in Zachary as a friendly, trendy spot that exudes professionalism! The residents have started rating their restaurant experiences and it was unanimous! On a 0-5 scale they were a “5”!

Soaking up the sunshine! Today the residents enjoyed the beautiful weather on the patio listening to the oldies and fellowshipping. Everyone is loving the new spring climate for sure!!!
