Bryon and Minnie from Alvita Care sponsored a great Veterans Social today at our community! Bryon and Minnie, who are both veterans themselves, were joined by members of our local American Legion and police dept. Our resident veterans loved hearing the stories of life on a nuclear submarine shared by the younger vets. Wives of veterans were also invited and they enjoyed being a part of something so special.

Our residents made the most of this drizzly day by visiting the New York Botanical Garden’s Annual Orchid show. What a treat! After the show they enjoyed lunch at the Hudson Garden Grille on the campus of NYBG which is one of our residents favorite spots.
