Welcome, Gabi!

Hi! My name is Gabriela, but everyone calls me Gabi. I started working as a teaching assistant supporting children’s behavior in 2024, and that experience made me realize how much I love helping kids grow and succeed. I’ve always been passionate about making a difference in children’s lives, and I also have over two years of experience tutoring students in Developmental Psychology, which gave me valuable insight into child development and inspired my interest in supporting children with disabilities. Through these experiences, I developed a special interest in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University, and I’m currently applying to start my master’s in ABA this January. I recently moved to New Smyrna Beach to be closer to my family, and I’m excited to continue growing in the field and making a difference in the lives of children and families!

Atlantic Coast ABA is also happy to welcome a new BCBA to the team! Meet Tyler Harper, M.Ed., BCBA

Hi! My name is Tyler Harper, and I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Originally from Jacksonville, I’ve been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2021. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and went on to complete my Master of Education in Special Education with a concentration in ABA at the University of North Florida.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals across various age groups and settings. I’m especially passionate about early intervention and natural environment teaching, where I believe meaningful progress can be made through play, exploration, and connection.

When I’m not working, you can find me reading a good book, hunting for shark teeth on the beach, or staying active through dance, walking, and running. As a new resident of New Smyrna Beach, I’m excited to explore all the area has to offer!

Meet Aubrei Blumberg, M.S., BCBA

Hello! My name is Aubrei Blumberg. I received my master’s degree through Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) in 2021. Since receiving my master's degree I have worked in clinic, home, school, and community settings. I am passionate about helping clients and families achieve their goals, while with having a fun time doing it. I am so interested in learning that if I have not come across a learning experience, I will look up a fun fact about it before ending the day. I currently live in Edgewater with my family.

🏊‍♀️ Volusia County’s Community Assistance Division will distribute free pool alarms at six regional libraries to help keep children and families safe around water.

These life-saving devices, which are limited to one per household, will be provided from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, June 6 while supplies last.

To be eligible for an alarm, the person collecting the alarm must be a Volusia County resident, at least 18 years old, and willing to sign a release and waiver form. Households that received a pool alarm from Volusia County in 2024 will be ineligible to receive an additional alarm on June 6.

Pool alarms are an essential layer of protection that can alert you the moment someone enters your pool area. Combined with proper supervision and safety barriers, they're a proven way to prevent water-related accidents.

Swim lesson providers will be available to assist families in signing up for free or reduced swim lessons at select libraries. Information will be posted at www.volusia.org/watersafety

Welcome to the team, Dalana!

Hello, my name is Dalana. I have been working as an RBT since March of 2024. Prior, I worked in special needs classrooms for 3 years, and volunteered before that. I’m currently looking to start my own business in the ABA field assisting parents. I am very passionate about providing all types of resources to parents to better aide their children. I was born and raised in NY and recently moved to Florida with the most goodest boy Spike. I have recently found high interest in gardening.
