❤️ Education and compassion help John MacMartin face his heart diagnosis.

When a routine check-up with Bruce Roach, MD, revealed an irregular pulse, John MacMartin worked with Trinity Health specialists to find answers. After meeting with Cardiologist Samir Turk, MD, he learned he had atrial fibrillation (AFib), an irregular heart rhythm.

With guidance and reassurance from Dr. Turk and Amanda Weidler, FNP-C, John found peace of mind and confidence to manage his condition.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮, 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿!
Samantha began her career at Trinity Health in patient admitting before enrolling in the Radiologic Technologist program. Inspired by her grandmother and aunt’s breast cancer journeys, she chose to specialize in Mammography to make a meaningful impact in patient care. After graduating, Samantha joined the team as a Mammography Technologist and, through her dedication and leadership, was soon promoted to her supervisor role.

Samantha values the relationships she builds with her patients and the positive influence she has on their experience with these life-saving screenings. She also finds it rewarding to be able to help her technologists grow into confident mammographers, to ensure they are imaging patients to the best of their ability.

🎃 Halloween is just one week away! With Trunk-or-Treats and spooky fun around the corner, here are some important safety tips for a fun and safe celebration:

🍬 Candy safety: Inspect all treats before enjoying. Look for any signs of tampering, and be cautious with homemade treats. For those with food allergies, check for allergen labels and consider carrying allergy-friendly snacks. It’s also a good idea to talk to your children about the dangers of accepting treats from strangers, including the potential for harmful substances.

🚦 Street smarts: Stick to well-lit areas, walk in groups, and never enter a stranger's home.
🐾 Animal awareness: Be mindful of pets that might be uncomfortable with costumes or crowds.
💳 ID safety: Bring an ID card in case of emergencies.
🍂 Fall weather: Dress in layers to stay cozy on those chilly nights!

Let’s keep Halloween fun, safe, and inclusive for all! 👻
