The MHA Nation Peer Support 40-hour Training has concluded. The participating peers experienced a highly productive and compassionate week of learning, showcasing remarkable support and growth. Their dedication to personal and community development is truly admirable. The tools and spark of hope they gained to support others are impressive. This embodies Recovery at its finest. The time to offer support has arrived. Collective strength is apparent. We express our appreciation to MHA Nation and the council for their unwavering love and support. Particular thanks go to Councilwoman Dr. Mayer for her consistent support. We are also grateful to the YellowBird family for providing meals throughout the week. Our thanks to all who ensured the training's success. ND State Behavioral Health team.

Recovery Lodge

MHA Nation’s ‘The Door’ Recovery Lodge guarantees a safe, sober, proactive environment to those that are in Recovery. ‘The Door’ provides peer-support, care-coordination, and a solid Wellbriety Movement 12-step recovery foundation. Our Recovery Lodge isn’t an inpatient or outpatient center, nor do we provide any clinical services. We believe in building a Healing Forest here at home on the Fort Berthold Reservation for our people returning home from treatment or prison. Our peer-support members and Recovery Coaches assist those that want to change old negative behaviors and thinking. ‘The Door’s’ primary purpose is to promote healthy, structured, responsible living through utilizing peer-support and our cultural teachings to start living life on life’s terms!
