Early this morning I had an unexpected surgery to remove my appendix. I won't be in for the next couple weeks. We will be closed tomorrow but Dr. Randy will be filling in on Thursday & Friday and Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of next week. I am expecting be to back to normal hours on Aug. 25th.

Our Story

Axis Chiropractic, P.A. has a history with the community that started long before Dr. Brett Meyer, D.C. opened the doors on May 15, 2018. In 1984, Dr. Randall Verschaetse, D.C. opened Verschaetse Chiropractic Clinic in the community to help integrate his quality care and give natural healing to the area. Dr. Verschaetse has spent over 35 years serving the community and it’s people to help thousands of patients over the years feel better and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Over the years word spread and his patient base built on the quality services that he provided. In May of 2018, Dr. Meyer purchased Verschaetse Chiropractic Clinic and re-named it to Axis Chiropractic, P.A. at the same location. Dr. Verschaetse is still working at Axis to keep serving patients.

When Dr. Meyer took over we changed the name to Axis Chiropractic, P.A. to better incorporate a multiple provider clinic. Dr. Meyer is determined to keep that same quality of care and exceptional patient experience for each and every patient. He believes that each patient is here for their own specific problem, and there is a specific course of treatment for each individual. We don’t believe in doing large treatment plans. While we proudly help and encourage regular maintenance visits, if a patient comes in with an issue, we need to solve that first and talk about preventing it after they have gotten better.

We are mainly a hands on diversified adjusting clinic that also uses Thompson Technique and Activator. We pride ourselves on getting a large amount of our patients from existing patient referrals via word of mouth recommendations.
