Today, we had the honor of serving the family of Justin Reinarts.

The outpouring of love and support from our community was truly humbling. Fire departments from across the region joined in procession, and hundreds of friends, neighbors, and first responders came together to celebrate Justin’s life and stand beside his loved ones during this difficult time.

Though his life was tragically taken far too soon, the unity, compassion, and strength shown today remind us of the deep bonds that make our communities so special.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came to pay tribute. Your presence was a powerful reflection of love, respect, and shared humanity.

May Justin’s memory continue to inspire kindness, courage, and connection in us all. ❤️

We would like to take the time to congratulate our longtime friend and colleague, Peter Macho, on his retirement after more than 25 years of dedicated service with Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes.

Peter has been so much more than an employee — he’s been a trusted funeral professional, a compassionate presence for families in need, and a steady hand and voice behind the scenes. His service extended far beyond our doors, too. Peter has faithfully served the New Ulm community as a firefighter, volunteered his time in numerous civic roles, and, most importantly, has been a true friend to all.

We are deeply grateful for Peter’s years of commitment, integrity, and kindness. His presence will be missed, but his impact will be felt for many years to come.

Thank you, Peter, and congratulations on this next chapter!

There seems to be a local problem with Verizon phones calling our business line. If you need to get in touch with the funeral home this evening, calls must be made from a land line. Hopefully Verizon gets this problem fixed ASAP.

Honoring a Life of Service

Today we mourn the loss, but celebrate the life of Bruce Savoy. Bruce was devoted funeral director who brought comfort and care to so many. His kindness, guidance, and compassion will never be forgotten.

Though he is gone, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
