MY BIO SUMMARY

My spiritual path has been long, officially spanning 5 decades (unofficially, more than that), & is quite eclectic with what some may view as a hodgepodge of unrelated themes. Even as a child, raised in a very Catholic household, I was a mystic with precognitive visions who attracted the extraordinary. When I learned of an esoteric school opening its doors in the early 1970’s, I immediately enrolled. The Inner Vision School of Occult & Psychic Sciences, located in Manhattan, was a wonderful place to get the basics in various divination systems & all things metaphysical. The school also answered some questions for me about my own experiences. After a few years I moved on to deepen my studies at The Occult Guild with Rev. Charles House. We were a small, private group, meeting weekly for several years at the Ansonia Hotel in NYC. House was a student of the late but renowned spiritualist medium, Clifford Bias whose church had also been in the Ansonia. Under the direction of Charles House, we explored the greater meaning of the Hermetic Arts like tarot & astrology, of practices like meditation, chant, ceremonial magick, & ritual, & the timeless truth of the Hermetic Principles. Simultaneously, I studied Ancient Esoteric Philosophy at The New School & received my astrologer certification from the H Eugene Adams School of Astrology in Forest Hills, NY. At the New School I met Jon Mundy, PhD, who introduced me to A Course in Miracles & I became a lifelong student/teacher, going on to facilitate, for several years in the 1990’s, a weekly Course based peer support group for women at the Interfaith Center in Washingtonville, NY. I was also blessed to present workshops at an ACIM annual conference in Bethel, Maine for 5 years in a row, as well as directing a choir & co-producing a Sunday morning service with some beloved brothers & sisters whom I have held in my heart ever since as my core ACIM family. In the same period, my work with chant brought me to record “Lovecalls,” a little a cappella cassette of my original work which in turn brought me an invitation to record a CD, “Lullabies of the Soul,” with a delightful group of sister-souls in Hartford CT. Improvisational heart songs & the vibration of sound has long been a part of my soul’s healing journey. When I moved to Orange County in 1979, I did readings & offered small classes in my home - through the 1980’s - in tarot, astrology, meditation, chant, ritual & sacred ceremony, among other subjects. I had learned psychic/spiritual healing methods at Inner Vision, & made much use of those skills in my travels through pediatric cancer in the same decade, but had a big issue with empathic absorption. I longed to learn Usui Reiki, intuitively sensing that it would help with the empath problem. Back in those days, however, the fees to reach Reiki Master were way out of my financial reach, but I held fast to the vision that one day I would learn. In the late 90’s, I was invited to attend meditation & ritual with a local group of women. After one of the circles, the woman who led the group reached for my hand & said, “You have strong Reiki.” I told her I had never learned. She said I was a natural healer but was having empathic absorption issues that attunement to Reiki would fix. She was so very right. She offered to instruct & attune me & in exchange I assisted her with a personal project. My career as a Reiki Practitioner was soon launched. In early 2000, I became a Reiki Master/Teacher. Reiki did indeed clear my empathic absorption & is a precious gift beyond measure. I am also a writer & poet whose work has been published in various magazines & newsletters spanning back to 1977. More recently, I became a certified aromatherapist, a doTERRA certified essential oil specialist, as well as an essential oil educator at HigherVibeHealth. I have incorporated the use of essential oils into my Reiki practice, along with my standard crystals, solfeggio frequencies & tuning forks. There is really too much life to include all of it in this blurb, but these are some of the highlights on my spiritual road to here. Many Blessings! Thérèse Marie Quinn

Pisces softens our hard edges and gently nudges us to surrender to the flow of our lives, not to escape the challenges that life brings, but as an invitation to be fully present in each moment and welcome whatever comes to remind us how holy we are. This is how we gently distill the grace every experience has to offer & make room for our Spirit to express its Oneness with All There Is. Pisces teaches us to trust our intuition & imagination & helps us dissolve whatever has blocked our Soul's Lightness of Be-ing. Let's ready ourselves in this season to listen from our heart & let the compassion awakening there lead us toward a more loving future. We have learned that divided we fall long & hard. Pisces whispers again & again, "United we stand, survive, thrive & release the insanity currently infecting this world." 🌞♓️🩵☮️

WELCOME TO PISCES SEASON!
2/18 - 3/20 for 2026

The Sun moved into Pisces this morning on Feb. 18, 2026 at 10:32 AM EST. In the midst of eclipse season, we get a refreshing shift in perception from Pisces which reminds us to have faith & trust in our intuition & heart to lead the way forward. In the upcoming rush of planets to cluster in Aries and the advent of the Fire Horse Year, Pisces enters to remind us to soothe our Souls & structure our dreams as guides in the reset energy the Solar Eclipse just delivered.

I love what Astrologer Penni Shelton has to say:

"Aquarius season cleared the air, Pisces season clears the undercurrent. And grace is present within all of this.
What remains after it recedes will be true. And truth is what will carry us forward."

May we reach for the Grace of the Unifying Piscean Ocean and let it soothe all our fears of being devoured by the Big Fire swiftly rising. Trusting in our Soul's Wisdom is essential now. Joining together in Love's Name is our priority.

CRYSTALS & GEMS FOR AQUARIUS SEASON

Here are some wonderful crystal suggestions for Aquarians & Aquarius Season. Amethyst is essential. Tiger's Eye or Yellow Agate can be substituted for Golden Calcite; Blue Lace Agate or Aquamarine for Angelite, Black Onyx or Pyrite for Hematite. Garnet has no substitute & is highly efficient in bringing Aquarian visions into manifestation. My favorite is Almandine Garnet as pictured. ♒️💜♒️💜♒️

New Moon Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse
Feb. 17, 2026 in 28°49’ Aquarius at 7:03 AM EST
Saturn–Neptune Conjunction at 0° Aries
Beginning of the Fire Horse Year

What big change energy this New Moon In Aquarius Eclipse ushers in! And we don't have to wait for tomorrow because we are already in the dark of the Moon in Aquarius. This is the big week we've been waiting for and it already feels like nothing will ever be the same in the months ahead. The following is a sharing by Davina MacKail from medium.com that I think rings all the bells for the week ahead:

"There are moments in astrology that feel personal. There are moments that feel collective.
And then there are moments that feel historical. This Annular Solar Eclipse belongs to the third category.
The Sun and Moon meet at 28°49’ Aquarius, the sign that governs collective systems, technology, ideology, and the architecture of the future. Close to the anaretic degree, the degree of culmination and reckoning, Aquarius has run its experiment, it has tested its theories. Aquarius at 28° is wise, uncompromising, visionary, and tired of compromise. It has walked the long arc of collective evolution. It has experimented, disrupted, invented, dismantled. Now it stands at the gate asking the question:
What kind of world are we actually building?

Aquarius governs the collective mind. It rules networks, social reform, humanitarian movements, digital systems, and shared ideals. When a Solar Eclipse lands at the final degree of this sign, something in the collective script completes.
Pluto is newly seeded in Aquarius, reshaping power structures from the inside out. Mars is also in Aquarius, adding heat and urgency to ideological movements, digital activism, and the courage to speak truth to institutions. The eclipse is activating this territory with intent.

Solar eclipses function as cosmic resets. They override the usual lunar cycle and initiate longer 6 month arcs of unfolding. Something collective is being eclipsed and re-patterned: outdated visions of progress, hollow rhetoric around equality and technological advancement without soul. The air is electric with ideological heat. We are being asked to mature our relationship with the future and truly choose for the next 7 generations to come.

On a personal level, Pluto in Aquarius asks for sovereignty within community. Where have you diluted your originality in order to belong? Where have you outsourced your authority to group consensus? The era emerging now requires both collaboration and inner autonomy.

The Sun and Moon are square Uranus in Ta**us. Uranus in Ta**us destabilises what we thought was solid. Money. Land. Food. Security. Resources. It disrupts comfort zones and inherited value systems. When the Aquarian eclipse forms a square to Uranus, collective narratives around economy, environment, and material stability are shaken.
Markets may fluctuate. Institutions may wobble. Policy announcements may arrive abruptly. But the deeper message is not chaos, it is recalibration. If the foundations are not aligned with the future, they will not hold.

Individually, this square asks: where are you clinging to outdated security models? Where are you afraid to innovate because it threatens comfort?
Aquarius wants freedom. Ta**us wants safety. Uranus demands authenticity.
Something has to give.

Saturn and Neptune at Zero Aries: The Initiation Point

This is not a subtle sky, three days after the eclipse, Saturn and Neptune perfect their conjunction at 0° Aries. At the very first degree of the zodiac, on the World Axis, the ignition point of identity itself.
Saturn is structure, governance, accountability.
Neptune is vision, mysticism, dissolution.
When they meet at 0° Aries, we are witnessing the birth of a new spiritual architecture.

Zero degrees Aries is primordial fire. It is the spark before identity forms. Saturn–Neptune cycles occur roughly every 36 years, but their conjunction at this precise degree is extraordinarily rare. Astrological calculations trace the last occurrence back at least 6000 years. (more than 6300 years!)

Expect narratives around leadership, governance, faith, borders, technology, and climate to undergo profound restructuring over the next few years. Some ideologies will collapse. Others will manifest into form.
The symbolism is unmistakable: Illusions built into systems dissolve. Spiritual narratives that lack integrity collapse. Leadership that cannot embody vision falters. At the same time, new frameworks begin to crystallise. Ones with structures infused with soul, governance informed by conscience and responsibility shaped by compassion.

On a personal level, this conjunction asks a quieter question: What dream are you willing to take responsibility for?
Not imagine. Not romanticise, but actually make.
Neptune dissolves what is false. Saturn demands that what remains be real. And Aries ignites action. We can’t drift into the next era we have to build it.

The Fire Horse Ignites

Then there is the other fire entering the field. This eclipse also opens the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse.
The Horse is movement, independence, instinct, momentum. The Fire element amplifies intensity, volatility, speed, charisma, and combustion. Fire Horse years historically carry dynamism and disruption. They do not move cautiously. They gallop. Look back to 1966 our last fire horse year for confirmation of that.
When you layer Fire Horse energy over a Solar Eclipse at the final degree of Aquarius, square Uranus, and framed by the Saturn–Neptune conjunction at zero Aries, the symbolism becomes compulsive — this is massive acceleration.
Fire Horse energy does not tolerate stagnation. It magnifies passion and magnifies impulsivity. It fuels innovation and can inflame conflict. It emboldens leaders and exposes recklessness. It rewards courage and punishes complacency.

The volatility already indicated by Uranus square the eclipse becomes more combustible under Fire Horse influence. Markets may move sharply. Political narratives may ignite quickly. Collective moods may swing faster than expected.

Individually, people may feel a surge of urgency. A desire to act. To change direction. To break free. The key is to harness fire without being consumed by it. Think cosy pub on a winter’s night rather than raging infernos. The 3D world will continue to get louder and messier, our job is to stay grounded and centred within.
Saturn provides containment. Neptune provides conscience. Aquarius provides vision. Fire Horse provides propulsion. Used consciously, this is a year of courageous leadership and creative breakthrough. Used unconsciously, it becomes reactive and scattered.

Venus and the North Node in Pisces: The Soul of the Future

Amid the heat and volatility, there is grace. Venus moves through Pisces, exalted, and conjunct the North Node. Collective destiny bends toward compassion, artistry, intuition, and spiritual sensitivity.

Mercury in Pisces trines Jupiter in Cancer. Conversations can heal. Emotional intelligence expands. There is genuine capacity for empathy beneath the noise.

Jupiter in Cancer strengthens ancestral memory and protective instinct. It encourages us to build futures that honour belonging rather than fragmentation.

This soft water current runs beneath the fire. Without this layer, the Fire Horse could scorch. With it, the fire illuminates.

The Emotional Body and the Nervous System

Lilith in Sagittarius stirs truth that refuses suppression. Chiron in Aries continues to surface wounds around identity and courage. The Cancer rising tone of this eclipse reminds us that emotional regulation is not a luxury. It is essential.
When skies are this large, people can feel ungrounded. Saturn–Neptune dissolves familiar narratives. Uranus destabilises security. Fire Horse accelerates reaction. Stability will not come from clinging to old systems. It will come from your inner alignment. Regulate the body. Anchor in breath. Move deliberately rather than reactively. Practice loving kindness.
Fire must be fed and directed to be truly effective.

The Larger Arc

This Solar Eclipse plants a seed at the end of Aquarius just as Saturn and Neptune ignite a new cycle at the beginning of Aries. It closes one ideological chapter and initiates another. The old dream dissolves. The new structure demands embodiment. This is initiation.

Aquarius asks: what future are we designing?
Pisces asks: does it have a soul?
Aries asks: who will act?
Fire Horse asks: how fast are you willing to move?

Working With This Eclipse

Do not rush to manifest under an eclipse of this magnitude. They are threshold points, liminal gateways and they require stillness.

Ask yourself:
What structures in my life are built on illusion?
What vision is mature enough to take form?
Where must I act with courage rather than hesitation?

Write one commitment. Practical. Grounded. Saturn-approved.
Then honour Neptune. Light a candle. Offer water. Pray if that is your language. Sit in silence if it is not.
Then honour Aries. Take one tangible step within seven days — send the proposal, end the contract, begin the discipline, speak the truth.

The future is not arriving from elsewhere. It is being authored by each of us in the now.
Under this Solar Eclipse and at the birth of the Fire Horse year, may we harness fire with wisdom, vision with responsibility, and courage with compassion.

We are not watching history. We are creating it. Wishing you all infinite new moon love and blessings."

WHERE'S YOUR AQUARIUS?

Aquarius is the sign of the innovator, the visionary, & the future-oriented, out-of-the-box solution finder. Aquarius upholds every individual's right to reach for & freely express their purpose. They are the humanitarians and rebels of the zodiac. Even if you have no planets in Aquarius, somewhere in your chart is an Aquarius House that shines these qualities through the activities of that particular realm of experience.

I am blessed with a first house Jupiter in Aquarius which has helped me greatly to maintain faith & optimism in the face of some hard lessons as I grew into an awareness of my own purpose. Now I guide others to find & claim their purpose despite how long, dark or foggy the path ahead may appear. Aquarius looks past the darkness to the light beyond, to the abundant possibilities waiting just up ahead. Find your Aquarius and embrace your most authentic vision for your life's meaningful unfoldment, as well as for your tribe, community or humanity at large in whatever area of your life The Water Bearer sits.♒️♒️♒️

THE CAILLEACH & GROUNDHOG DAY

Cailleach Béara (pronounced Kahlyakh Vayra), more commonly referred to as The Cailleach, is an ancient Gaelic goddess from time immemorial whose origins are deeply buried for sure. Cailleach means “old woman” in modern Irish & Béara is a title often understood as “the storm bringer.” In old Irish, Cailleach translates as “the veiled one.” And veiled she is through the centuries, well shrouded in mystery, although still much remembered in parts of Ireland, Scotland & Wales. The “Great Book of Lecan” (manuscript c.1400AD) gives her a mention & claims that the Cailleach Béara was the chief goddess of the Corcu Duibne people on the Di**le Peninsula of Ireland’s Kerry.

The Cailleach is a Dark Mother Goddess, the Wise Crone, who rules over the winter, the wild wind & the wilderness. Tales tell of her formidable strength & eerie visage. Her domain was usually claimed from Samhain to Beltane. She is known as the death bringer, although seemingly deathless herself. The Cailleach is also the decider of Spring’s timing. Her opposite is Brigid the Bright, Fiery Maiden Goddess who rules over the spring & summer, fertility, new growth, creativity & passion. Brigid is the life bringer whose domain was set from Beltane to Samhain, although her presence flames up briefly to quicken the frozen earth at Imbolc as well. They may be two faces of the same goddess, but as The Cailleach is so much a mystery, it is hard to say with certainty.
There are many stories told of this Ancient One, but most timely is the legend around The Cailleach which closely mirrors our own “Groundhog Day” mythology. It was said that if the day of Imbolc was sunny & bright, The Cailleach would emerge from her hidden caves, go into the woods & collect enough firewood to stay warm for the next long stretch of winter. But if Imbolc was stormy, The Cailleach was said to sleep in without collecting more firewood and so an early Spring was a certainty.

Through the years, the myth apparently transferred to the badger & eventually crossed the Atlantic to land as the groundhog. And so here in the northeast U.S., we have Punxsutawney Phil and his kin. If it’s bright & sunny on February 2nd, Phil ventures out from his underground burrow, sees his shadow & the second half of winter will be long & cold. If the day is clouded in gray or stormy, then Phil casts no shadow, and an early Spring is guaranteed.

Hardy Blessings of Longevity from The Cailleach
& Happy Groundhog Day!

FULL SNOW MOON in 13° LEO 03’
February 1, 2026 @ 5:09 PM EST

The Leo Full Moon awakens our Heart, shines our Light, invites our Joy, stands us in Courage & Integrity, opens us to Inspiration, Creativity & Self-Empowerment. It calls us to wholly express the Love that we are, not for adulation or applause, but simply for the sake of Truth unveiled... 🌝♌️
🌞♒️

Here’s what ‘Pisces Moonbeam Astrology’ has to say:

FULL MOON IN LEO ON THE RISE

What to expect? Emotional intensity. Sudden clarity. Truth bombs. Heart-led decisions you can’t walk back. Powerful endings… and equally powerful breakthroughs. You may feel the urge to speak what you’ve been holding in, choose yourself without guilt, or finally release something that has been draining your life force.

Full Moons don’t negotiate — they reveal. illuminate. and close chapters.
The Full Moon in Leo is bringing completions of things that began 6 months ago. What started as a quiet desire is now demanding center stage. What you ignored now wants acknowledgment. What is misaligned is reaching its expiration date.

Leo energy is bold, proud, passionate, romantic, and expressive. It rules the heart space — our courage, our creativity, our confidence, and our need to feel seen and valued.
But this Moon is charged because it sits directly across from the Sun in Aquarius, activating the powerful Leo–Aquarius axis.
Leo is the personal heart.
Aquarius is the collective vision.
Leo says: “Honor your truth.”
Aquarius says: “Stop betraying yourself to belong.”
This is the push-pull between authenticity and approval… individuality and community… passion and emotional detachment.

Where have you been shrinking to make others comfortable?
Where are you ready to stop asking for permission?
Where is your heart demanding bravery?

This is not surface energy — this is soul-level honesty.
Expect dramatic realizations, emotional conversations, romantic turning points, confidence surges, and the courage to step fully into your light.

Signs feeling this the MOST: if Leo is your 7th, 8th, 2nd, 6th, 10th or 12th or 1st house you will feel it bigtime.
Leo Aquarius Ta**us Scorpio
(If you have strong placements in these signs… prepare to feel this one physically.) Especially if you have planets within 9 to 17 degrees of the above signs.
Along with Gemini, Sagittarius, Aries, and Libra

And there is something VERY important amplifying this lunation…
Mercury is still conjunct Venus during the Full Moon.
Words carry weight right now.
Confessions spill out.
Important conversations happen.
Love gets clarified — one way or another.
A single message could change everything.
This is heart-on-the-line energy.

A courage Moon.
A visibility Moon.
A stop-hiding Moon.

If something cannot come with you into your next chapter… this Moon will make it undeniable.

THE FESTIVAL OF IMBOLC
& BRIGID’S DAY

Imbolc (or Imbolg) is the midwinter fire festival & feast of the goddess Brigid. When the dark days have begun to feel like more than we can bear, we are reminded on Imbolc that beneath the blanket of snow, the growing things that bud in Spring are quickened in the Earth Mother’s womb & are beginning their first tiny movements toward the sun. We are halfway to Spring!

A fiery goddess, the red-headed Brigid (whose nickname is Bride or Bridie) is symbolically the Bride of the Sun God who has left her to grieve & meet the dark months alone. Imbolc kindles the flame of her passion, desire & hope for his full return at the Spring Equinox, and she cleanses every inch of their wedding chamber in preparation for that return. She readies dormant seeds & intentions for their awakening in the returning light as the days grow longer.

Often at this time, flowers like snowdrops may push through the frozen earth with a bloom, or new shoots of early crocus & daffodils can be seen rising through the snow. This sabbat is usually celebrated from Feb 1st through Feb 2nd. In astrological circles, it falls on the day when the sun is at 15 degrees of Aquarius, which is usually on either of these dates but can be as late as Feb 4th. Most, however, don’t pay as much attention to the official astrological dates here as they do with the Equinoxes & Solstices.

So, what are some of the practices we may embrace to celebrate this special day? They are surely varied but can be quite simple & shared with the whole family. I offer you a few simple ideas here:

1. Plan your garden if you have one or write down your hopes for the year. It is the best day to literally bless your seeds as those you will soon plant & watch turn into shoots, or symbolically as those ideas & goals you wish to bring to fruition.
2. Weave a Brigid’s Cross. It doesn’t have to be made of the traditional reeds or grasses but can be fashioned out of pipe cleaners & twine, ribbon, yarn or thread. Children love to be included in this activity & each can be given a room to bless with their very own cross. Make sure to save one to hang at the entry door the family uses most to bring only blessings into the house & keep all sorrows at bay. (There are many online tutorials on how to make these beautiful crosses.)
3. Make a simple little Brigid doll. There is a photo of a pretty Brigid doll fashioned from colorful yarn below OR you can use whatever scraps of cloth you have & make it as fancy as you like or as basic as it can be with an empty toilet paper roll wrapped in a paper towel & tied with twine. The doll invites Brigid to enter the house & stay to light our joy’s way: Another good activity to share with the kids.
4. Light a Red Candle as a reminder that Imbolc is a fire festival & to invite its warm energy & creative passion into your home. It reminds us that among other things, Brigid is the goddess of poetry & all forms of creativity & encourages each of us to re-kindle our own creativity. Whatever you create this day will honor & please the Goddess within you.
5. Clean your house & sweep the stagnant winter energy out the door! "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's out the door you go!" Pour a bit of milk into the soil around your home, as a gift of nourishment for the awakening earth to insure healthy growth & an abundant harvest for all.
6. Make a traditional Imbolc meal or dessert. A google or pinterest search will point you to many! My favorite is making a traditional potato soup. Transform the mundane brewing of your tea, coffee or hot cocoa into a sacred Imbolc ritual by stirring clockwise 3 times with a cinnamon stick & adding some milk, also sacred to Brigid. Cinnamon is a fiery spice that honors Brigid’s passion (not to mention her red hair!) and the flaming, cleansing spirit of this sabbat. Burning some cinnamon incense or diffusing cinnamon essential oil serves this purpose as well. Fill a small bowl with water & float cinnamon sticks in it as a symbol of the purifying waters of Brigid's sacred wells. Sprinkle the water throughout the corners of the house to banish all illness & sorrow.
In whatever way you choose to celebrate, let Imbolc light your gratitude, hope, creativity & desire for some fresh, new ways to blossom!

May Brigid’s flames warm your heart & hearth & light a new hope through the remaining winter days. Bright Imbolc Blessings to all! 🦢🔥🐑
