I am sorry, but I read a couple of posts on Facebook in a supposedly training and behavior site and was appalled by the responses from some of these so called trainers.

I am going to sum up the post - O posts that she adopted a 3yr old husky - multiple meet/greets at the shelter. They picked up the dog on the day she was spayed. She has 2/3 children young - She has had the dog 3 days. The dog has bonded to her and will howl when she leaves the room etc. The dog has nipped at the children, more recently her 12yr? Who went to pet her and now has a welt on her hand - no broken skin. She and her husband now want to send the dog back to shelter and is now keeping her in a separate room. SMFH

How stupid can you be - Dogs need to compress, she just had surgery and rest, but no you think it is ok to throw her into the mix of your family and expect her to be perfect! Oh yes they did put the cat in the basement how considerate of them.

I asked did you do any research on the breed? Have you ever had a husky. Dogs need a to compress for at least 3 mos and not 3 days. My Post was deleted, but the so called trainer was like send the dog back she is dangerous etc. Sorry that is not a training site or behavior site! Giving such ignorant guidance.
