Every 4th of July, we look forward to enjoying fireworks 🎆 among all the other summer time festivities! While it's important to enjoy the holiday with our friends and family, it's equally important to protect our health and safety.

Over the years as an Audiologist, I have seen patients immediately following the 4th for complaints of hearing loss due to noise exposure from fireworks, or worse, firework accidents.

Please 🙏, use caution ⚠️ when setting off fireworks. Wear protective ear muffs or ear plugs. Keep a safe distance from fireworks 🎆 . Protect children and their hearing by providing them with noise protective eae muffs.
