سوف أتذكر أنني لا أعالج الحمى أو السرطان بحد ذاته، ولكن الإنسان المريض، الذي قد يؤثر مرضه على أسرة الشخص والاستقرار الاقتصادي.

سوف أمنع حدوث المرض كلما استطعت، للوقاية خير من العلاج.

سوف أتذكر أنني ما زلت عضوًا في المجتمع، مع التزامات خاصة لجميع زملائي من البشر، الأطفال منهم و العجزة.

إذا لم أخالف هذا اليمين، سأعيش محترماً أستمتع بالحياة و الفن، و أبقى ذكرى.

سأحافظ على تقاليد مهنتي و أتمنى أن أشعر بفرحة شفاء أولئك الذين يطلبون مساعدتي.“
