These are pretty slick doors where the large scoops expose a circular section of the cross grain board laminated beneath. I’m certain they are going to look 100x better once Peter is done with them. Can’t wait to see!

Had to rush to get these custom brass claddings finished for a bar. Nothing like working under pressure to produce results! I really like bending brass after scoring it with the miter bit on the CNC. It leaves a tight and consistent radius on the edge and is quite satisfying as well! Thank you for the hustle to help get these done.

Unfortunately didn’t record any of the vacuum fixturing for this which was pretty interesting but all I can say is it worked better than I thought it would.

Will try to include more footage of the cad/cam side of things in future posts.

I always have to fight the urge to just leave it as is after the roughing operation. Going to take this one to completion but it gives me ideas for future projects.

Playing with some form in rhino and decided to cut it into this big chunk of brass I had in the shop. I don’t think I’m done with it yet but it’s starting to get interesting. Will try to post more process shots/videos soon!
