I demand my Alienware M15 PC execute commands simultaneously; it must play music, run videos, import pictures, download files, browse webpages, participate in meetings, and load games all at once. Being a gentleman, I understand that it may need ample firepower to ensure everything occurs without delay; so I installed more RAM (Random Access Memory - a computer specification roughly proportional to multitasking ability) hardware and created a high-performance battery option, enabling it to draw more voltage from my power outlets. ๐๐ก
Human beings are analogous to, yet quite unlike todayโs computers. While we too have central processors (brain & spinal cords), wires carrying electric currents (nerve fibers),
ventilation systems (lungs & skin), and anti-viral defense mechanisms (immunologic cells), our hardware (e.g. heart, bones, muscle) is less adaptable. As Elon Musk put it during his Neuralink keynote address โ we are already basically cyborgs: ๐ค โก๏ธ
