1️⃣ Beating yourself up over the smallest misstep or mistake instead of being kind and soothing yourself as you would do for a friend who messed up.
2️⃣ Flying into an uncontrollable rage at that slightest provocation. outer rage is a huge indicator that there’s plenty in the unconscious... a common factor for those with chronic pain.
3️⃣ Going out of your way to make sure others are happy, even complete strangers, while not doing basic self-care for yourself.
4️⃣ Thanking others incessantly. this is often a sign of past trauma and/or growing up without a feeling of safety.
5️⃣ Having a constant low-level anxiety and thinking it’s normal. the brain creates pain when it’s in danger and this constant lowkey fight or flight plays a big part in chronic pain taking hold.
None of this is to make you feel bad, weird or shamed!
It’s to bring AWARENESS! It’s a great sign if you have these traits, because that means its very likely your pain can be healed! ❤️🩹
Dr. Sarno, at NYU’s School of Rehabilitative Medicine pioneered the idea that repressed emotions and stress can lead to chronic pain and conditions. The result?
Thousands and thousands of people have healed their pain.
If you’ve tried everything and nothing works, I urge you to give this a go as I did.
I am SO GLAD I am back to who I was.
You CAN be yourself again too, I promise. ❤️🩹
