I recently shared some words of wisdom in about carpal tunnel syndrome.

Google “scary mommy Tracy McKay carpal tunnel” for the article… though I hope my children would never associate me with the word “scary.” 🫠

Many thanks to for inviting my colleagues and me to speak to their team of physical therapists about caring for performing artists and athletes, and their recovery. Working with teams is essential in PM&R, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with some truly incredible people.

Happy to serve as a consulting physician for in caring for their performers.

I can’t seem to find a single word that encapsulates feeling humbled with a deep sense of gratefulness and fulfillment, but if I could, I’d use it to describe working beside your mentors. Thank you to for trusting me and saying my name in room(s) full of opportunities.

My colleagues and I got to speak on Capitol Hill today on behalf of the (and honestly, all physicians, regardless of specialty) asking for a long-term solution to physician reimbursement and the passage of a bipartisan bill supporting prior authorization reform.

I’m not sure I’m cut out for the health policy world but I’m glad to have met all the staffers, lobbyists, and health policy professionals I spoke with over these last two days. It has certainly been an eye-opener learning about the ins-and-outs of US government firsthand.

At the end of the day, I speak on behalf of my patients and the care they deserve.
