One year older, and stronger too 💪🏻.
Hopefully wiser as well 😂.
Some Thoughts…
You can love yourself and still have fitness goals.
You can lose weight and eat carbs.
📷 You can post a before and after picture and love yourself in both, but also be proud of yourself and your hard work.
❤️ You can rise up and become a better version of yourself without competing with others. In fact, if you do it right, you can all rise up together 🫶🏻. Others successes don’t have to challenge yours.
⚠️ You can lose yourself in any goal, tread cautiously. The body can be used as a tool for creating more self discipline. But fitness can also be abused and overall health of both mind and body lost when it becomes too big of a focus.
🔅Overall health is so much bigger than muscle and heart rate. A truly healthy person seeks for expansion of the mind and heart. They seek to improve emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually.
⛔️Diets don’t work in the long run, but changing identity, and habits,
and systems Do!
⏰ Be patient! Change takes time. Love yourself enough to be patient with yourself.
🧘🏼Speak words of gratitude to your body every day 🫶🏻.
Love you all. Thank you all so much for all the birthday wishes yesterday.
Thank you for letting me be part of your fitness tribe! For letting me share my passion with you! 🫶🏻
