Believe it or not, sleep support isn’t just for first-time parents!

The second or third time around, you’re not starting from scratch—you’re juggling nap schedules with school pickup, coordinating multiple caregivers, managing work, and trying to meet everyone’s needs at once. 😅

What worked before doesn’t always translate to a busier, fuller household. And that can leave even the most experienced parents feeling stuck.

At , we help you troubleshoot around the real-life variables that get in the way of your child’s sleep.

▪️ School pickup in the middle of your toddler’s nap.
▪️ A daycare schedule that throws off your baby’s entire day.
▪️ Multiple caregivers trying to stay on the same page.

This is where most families need support: not because they don’t know what to do, but because real life makes consistency harder.

So if you’ve been holding off on support because you’ve “done this before,” this is your reminder—you don’t have to figure it out on your own this time around.

Comment SLEEP below and we’ll send you a link to get started, or send me a message if you want to talk through what support could look like for your family.

Spoiler alert: a lovey isn’t the solve for disruptive sleep but it can create a positive association with the crib and sleep.

This post breaks down everything you need to know about introducing a lovey into your child’s sleep routine!

And here are two bonus tips!

💡 BONUS TIP 1: Keep the lovey in the crib! Letting your child bring their lovey EVERYWHERE reduces the crib connection. My general rule: If it’s in the crib, it doesn’t leave, if it is played with outside of the crib it doesn’t come in!

💡 BONUS TIP 2: If your child is throwing their lovey out of the crib… and you’re going back in to get it… it may be turning into a game 👀 Instead of helping, it can quickly become a way to delay sleep or get extra visits from you.

Remember — your child doesn’t need a lovey to sleep well. Many children do perfectly fine without one!

Does your child use a lovey? What is it? Tell me below ⤵️ I’ll start!

First smile, first bite of food, first tooth, maybe even first step!

There is so much emphasis placed on the first year of a baby’s life that many parents hit the 12-month mark and think… “wait… there’s more!?”

12 months ushers in more movement, stronger language skills, increased communication, and yes… some sleep disruptions along the way. Here’s what to expect:

🔹 Most 12 month olds start on a two-nap schedule and gradually transition to one nap over the coming months

🔹 It’s okay to toggle between one and two naps depending on your schedule and your child’s cues

🔹 Aim for about 2.5 hours of total daytime sleep (either in one nap or split between two)

🔹 A consistent morning wake-up time helps create predictability for your day

🔹 Your child is starting to understand routines, this is a great time to solidify a consistent bedtime routine any caregiver can follow

🔹 Nap and bedtime protest are common as your child is leaning to stand and vocalize more (if you are dealing with this book a consult with us, we’ll get this solved!)

Can we all agree that a vacation with kids is really just moving your chaotic life to a new location. This one thankfully had sun, sand and a lot of SPF!

It was so great to spend some family time together. The kids had a blast and while there were plenty of stressful moments all in all we had a great trip! The best part was really just slowing down and being in the moment, something I need to do much more often.

I love what I do but a full week away was just what I needed! Full blog to come on where we stayed, restaurants and more after I do 18 loads of laundry!

These were some of the best days of my life, and I hope they can be the same for you!

If you’re heading into a c-section, here’s some thoughts from someone who has been there:

✨ Planned c-sections can bring a lot of peace—especially when you’re coordinating care for kids at home. Having a date eased my anxiety so much.

✨ It’s cold in there and anesthesia can cause chills. At Lenox Hill, they used warm air under a plastic drape, which helped a lot.

✨ Your care team matters. Ask questions, speak up, and advocate for yourself—especially when it comes to things like nausea management.

✨ If you can, choose your music. Fleetwood Mac and Hall & Oates got me through

✨ It’s a strange feeling—you’ll feel pressure and tugging, but shouldn’t feel pain.

✨ However your baby arrives, that first moment meeting them is pure magic.

✨ Recovery is real. Stay on top of meds and accept the help. I didn’t change a single diaper in the hospital... and I stand by that!

✨ Take the gas pills, walk when you can, and wear the binder.

✨ And when you get home… don’t overdo it. You just had major surgery. Your healing matters too.

Sending my love to all the c-section mamas out there 🤍

Is it typical toddler stubbornness… or is something else going on? Does your toddler suddenly hate the crib, or have you accidentally taught them that climbing in and out is actually a desired behaviour?

Here’s how I think about this common question:

What do the crib, high chair, stroller, and car seat all have in common?

They’re all stations of safety.

Each one has a clear purpose (sleeping, eating, traveling) and when we start encouraging our child to climb in and out of one, it can send the message that they’re free to come and go from all of them.

Yep… even the crib.

So what can you do about it? Watch this reel for my tips on keeping your “stations of safety” exactly that...safe!

And if you think your toddler’s crib climbing is tied to an upcoming crib to bed transition, comment COURSE below 👇 and we’ll send you a link to our 60-minute online course that walks you through every step!
