The Piano is open daily to the public from June 11th to June 30th 10 a.m. — 6 p.m. at Haven Plaza.

As part of the Sing for Hope Pianos program, artist-designed pianos are placed in local parks and public spaces—free and open for everyone to play, enjoy, and share the joy of music with the community.

This year's pianist artist: Yeline Del Carmen

Yeline Del Carmen is an abstract visual artist based in The Bronx, New York. Her work explores playful mark-making, bold colors, patterns, repetition, and nature. Using a variety of mediums, she creates everything from hand-painted tote bags and custom cards to canvas paintings and digital illustrations—some of which become postcards, scarves, stickers, or posters. Inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s dots and Basquiat’s intentional chaos, Yeline brings vibrant energy to each piece. In 2020, she launched her Instagram page, Another Dot., to share her art and creative process. The platform has since become a space for virtual art sales, artistic exploration, and community connection.

Name of Piano: Trust in Abstract

Artist Statement: This design reflects my inner dialogue about trusting myself. Intuitive marks and organic shapes dance across the Sing for Hope Piano, encouraging flow, harmony, and play. Soft earth tones blend with bold pops of color, capturing a spectrum of emotion and the balance between contrast. This layered landscape is a tribute to trusting the process, even without knowing the outcome. I hope it inspires others to find joy in the unknown.
