Spent the last two days at + the Once Upon A Time Foundation’s advanced training workshop on the Dynamic Temporal & Tactile Cueing (DTTC) method developed by Dr. Edythe Strand.

Honored is an understatement. I may be biased (I don’t think I am 😉), but the research that is happening at is amazing!! I can’t wait to apply the evidence-based treatment methods from this training with my clients with CAS and motor planning deficits. Back to work tomorrow we go! 🏃🏻‍♀️💪🏼

Speech tasks + sensory play is so great for young, growing brains 🧠

Research has shown that sensory play builds nerve connections in the brain’s pathways, helping children to complete more complex learning tasks & improve their language development 🪄

Sensory bins can include many different things! Dried rice, dried noodles, uncooked beans, kinetic sand, water beads, shaving cream… the list goes on. Comment below your favorite sensory play materials ⤵️
